    Search warrant affidavits are almost never made public before charges and often remain permanently under seal if charges are never filed

    If the affidavit is released, it needs to redact the names of witnesses because they will surely need witness protection.

    It's a negotiation tactic for him. He does this each and every time law enforcement or the House is/was investigating him. He uses intermediaries for plausible deniability. For instance, he reached out to Nancy Pelosi, Robert Mueller, the NY Attorney General's Office, and now the FBI by using intermediaries and a note to see what they can negotiate what he can do.

    If Trump wants to do the "right thing," he can go on Truth Social and post a very clear message, "Do not threaten the FBI or law enforcement, period."

    But he will not do that. He doesn't want to aleinate his supporters and he needs to show that at the bare minimum pretend that he cares, as he did with his Charlottesville speech and said "there are good people on both sides." This was after an innocent person was intentionally run down on the street where a guy on the "other side" did to a group of people.

As for Trump taking the fifth in the ridiculous NY case where everyone pretends that banks and taxing authorities don't do their own property appraisals? Every time Trump took the fifth with these crooked prosecutors, he was locking eyes with the lying bastards and telling them to shove it right up their donkeys, and he was telling them for all of us.

    I guess you have never bought, sold, or refinanced a house? And you think you just give the bank a number when they ask you what you think it's worth and they send you the money? Nobody is that stupid.

    And your property taxes. You think they have no appraisers either? They just ask you what the property is worth and say OK! Because you have never paid a property tax bill either?

    That's some interesting acting, but, I'm not buying that you, or anyone else with an IQ over room temperature is that stupid.
