Pelosi has negotiated...she allowed funds for border security that are sensible and effective...not for stupid walls. No Democrat cares that the trump rubes bought that Mexico was going to pay for an outdated, racist, useless wall. That's your problem...you support an incompetent, moron, racist, illiterate, traitor who lies around 30 times a day.

Pelosi and all the other Democrats were put there by decent Americans who do care about their country and will hold her accountable if she capitulates to the enemy of our country infesting the White House. Congress is run by Democrats and they work for the decent, good, intelligent voters in the country.

It's a framework for a negotiated settlement, if Democrats refuse to engage in compromise, and reopen the Federal government, then the President will have to take emergency actions to keep the government functioning, it was important that he first make the Democrats as very solid offer.

I honestly don't think trump is going to be in any position to run in 2020. The Democrats are going to start serious investigations and its going to get real ugly, real fast. They're going to open up his treasure trove of multiple crimes of both trump and his vile kids. Impeachment isn't going to be the issue...whether or not you can indict a sitting president will be the issue. Whether or not he actually won the election is going to be another issue.

The DACA program was an unconstitutional program that never had any basis to exist under our laws, and the people covered under DACA are illegal aliens. So...why shouldn't we deport them?

Yup. And how is a policy for a border wall related to a government shutdown other than that Trump is holding government workers (and plenty more) hostage for his wall? If I were to take a family hostage to force the town to pave my street, I'd go to jail for a very long time. Shouldn't Trump?

 

Why isn't there any report of congress negotiating this with Trump, then? He "heard" what some congressional Democrats wanted and adopted some of their ideas. THAT isn't negotiation. You can look up the definition if you don't believe me.

Show me any documentation saying that was ever the policy or proposal prior to trump.
