Particularly if said foreign banking involves institutions well known for gray or black market dealings and laundering of illicit moneys.

It's worse than that. In the following year (1995) his return showed an additional loss of $916M

Correct. You investigate when there is suspicion of nefarious activity. Trump's financial records will tell the story of his financial life,
which is a part of any investigation of this nature. A thorough search of your home is justified if you have a history of nefarious activity and may try to hide possible evidence. I do not support abuse of power against those I oppose. That is a ridiculous statement and is something that Trump is guilty of by threatening banana republic type of vindictiveness.
Flaunting the law? Read about Trump's past life and you will understand what I mean by "flaunting" the law. He is doing this right now by
using that "executive privilege" excuse for not complying with Congress. Flaunting the tax laws by not paying taxes and there is plenty more.

That is not Mueller's conclusion. That is Barr's interpretation and the entire report needs to be turned over to Congress.

Did not avoid the question. It proves nothing and it creates suspicion.

Never said that, and isn't it curious that Trump's people made so many trips to those countries? I don't believe that people go to those places for fun and frolicking. They go for a purpose. And when those countries are involved in our election, the question of purpose certainly arises.

The justice system you live under gives you the right not to talk to the police. And all lawyers everywhere agree that you should not talk to the police. Those who talk to the police are the dumb ones. Just like those who consent to a warrantless search.

Worse than what? What's wrong with declaring loses? Loses can be carried forward and are used to offset future earnings. Loses are good for business and are unavoidable in startups; in fact, businesses are hunting for bankrupt companies that carry loses on their books and buy them on the cheap just to be able to offset taxes paid on profits earned.

But I'm sure someone has already splained it to you, so why are you posting garbage still?

If a company is bankrupt they no longer have any losses to carry forward onto a new buyer!

And losses are good for businesses? What a load of crap LOL.

There should be an intense investigation to find the criminal who leaked tax returns.

Then don't talk to the police without a lawyer present. And if they suspected you then they will dig. If I witnessed an event, I would talk to the police about it.

You'll have to ask Yardmeat, the person who made those statements, knowing he could nit support them.

What evidence is there of illegal activity?
In all of Trump's IRS audits, how many illegalities were found?

There's still a criminal out there who leaked tax returns. There was no reasonable cause or charges filed, and no legal proceedings.

When you file your returns you have an absolute expectation of confidentiality -- or that used to be so.

What was Mueller's conclusion re: collusion with Russia, and how does it lead -you- to believe there was indeed collusion with Russia?

Trump's audits usually will find that taxes were not paid on the true value of the assets, and a fine and interest are charged unless the taxpayer finds a way to circumvent the issue. But you are not interested in a tax lesson, yes?
When I see his returns, I will do my best to give you a number.

When the full report is released to Congress, you and I will know more. When he sidles up to a thug for some reason only he knows and believes the thug over our intelligence community even after Mueller points out Russian meddling, something is amiss.

Maybe the IRS would be interested in having you teach them how to do their jobs.

Did you ever think that maybe it isn't all about you? Of course, I am going to talk to the police and I may hire an attorney. You are talking in hypotheticals. In my business days, I was approached by the police on several occasions about occurrences that might have affected me. The police are not the bad guys. If you think they are bad, then don't talk to them.
