Trump Throws Ronny Jackson Under the Bus

Trump does not think that the person he nominated for the VA job should take the job. Trump did not vet his nominee for the VA and yet he wants us to believe that the VA is important to him. Only the best, am I right?

And for those wondering why Ronny Jackson is facing a great deal of political headwinds and just got tossed under the bus, it appears that whistleblowers came forward to say that Mr. Jackson drank on the job, ran a hostile work environment, and over-prescribing medications.

 

Meh. The Atlantic... I looked for a credible source and couldn't find anything other than anti-Trump mags with their desperation.

 

Trump made the statements during his press conference with the French Prime Minister this morning. What are you doubting?

Setting aside the fact that you are creating a false choice, Trump is the one who nominated him without vetting him. Trump is the one who has had several DOZENS of people leave his administration due to their being unqualified and problematic in the first year. Trump is the current President.

Oh, and there's that little fact that Donald Trump whole heartedly endorsed the guy if he still wants to run for the position. Get better and stop the blind worship.

He has been the White House physician since 2006.... None of this crap came out until now.. I wonder why....

What are you talking about? Obama did not nominate him to run the VA. That is Trump, so why the **** does it matter that he was Obama's (and Bush Jr.'s by the way) doctor while in the White House?

He probably was fine as a doctor. However, running the VA is running hundreds of clinics and hospitals spread over all 50 states. There's a big difference in the skills set of a practicing doctor and a hospital administrator.

Why he wasn't vetted before his nomination is problematic. They should have known everything that might come out, so it could be addressed, well before the nomination went to Congress. If it's true that he was known to drink at work, that's a big problem. There's no need to embarrass the guy and the administration by letting it get this far, when there are issues. I don't know who is supposed to do the vetting, but this isn't the first time they've slipped up.

 

Trump be a better President who attracts quality candidates would be my personal choice. But we can't have that because Trumpettes decided to nominate a reality star with zero political or military experience.

 

Trump gave Admiral Jackson an honorable out, nothing more. We need to be cognizant of the fact that it's Trump being attacked not the Admiral.

 

Because it's not a big deal that Trump threw someone under the bus. You act like it never happened in past administrations.

 

Trump is the President and the guy who nominated Jackson without vetting him. He deserves the criticism.

 

The claims is he had a hostile work enviroment ( as the Presidents doctor) and drank on the job( as the Presidents doctor) one would think this information would have came out sooner.

Or could it be that this is the same doctor that gave Trump a clean bill of health AFTER the lefts desperate attempt ( i think it was plan D) to get rid of Trump by claiming he was unfit to be President.

Correct. And he's learning as he goes. He hasn't lived and breathed corrupt politics since his childhood. He didn't enter the White House with corruption in mind, he entered it with success in mind. Why people hate that I'll never understand. People can hate Trump, but I don't see how they could hate the good he's doing.
