Fair enough. I didn't pay close attention to it at the time as I didn't feel the outcome would matter all that much to my opinions on the subject. But the scope of Russian interference was far more significant than I was expecting when I did look into it some months after the report came out.

 

Well it's surprising that someone posting on a political message forum wouldn't be familiar with a story that monopolized news coverage for several years.

 

I am familiar with the story, just not your interpretation of it. You stated:

Believe it could mean:
- Believe Trump colluded with Russia
- Believe Trump obstructed justice
- Believe Russia interfered with the election at all
- Believe the report is even accurate, because Mueller is totally a biased traitor bent on destroying Trump's presidency

I have seen posters of many stripes on this board, but quite a few on the right I get the impression may fall into the category of disbelieving the findings of the report. Specifically, I'm not sure where you fall exactly, hence why I stated I wasn't sure what you meant by it.

 

The central premise of the story was that Trump colluded with Russia to do something to US elections so that Trump could win the Presidency and serve his master Putin. That was the story that was blaring from cable news for three years. Again, surprised you didn't hear it.

I seem to remember there being at least 3 threads created by the OP in Elections & Campaign alone, of which only this one appears to have survived. So my guess would be something related to that. It seemed a bit excessive for someone who just joined Sunday.

 

All of the intelligence agencies do, and Mueller made extensive findings about it.

As Mueller found, Russian efforts to help Bonespurs were "sweeping and systematic fashion", and that help was welcomed by the Trump campaign as it expected to benefit from such efforts.

You couldn't have read the report, because Mueller also stated that his investigators ultimately had an incomplete picture of what happened due to communications that were encrypted, deleted or unsaved, as well as testimony that was false, incomplete or decline---people lied, hid or deliberately left things out.

That's not the behavior of people who are innocent.

Read the report. you'll probably convince yourself that it's magically untrue, but at least have the intellectual honesty to read it first.

You would think people would understand that by now, but they don't.

 

That is quite the "magic wand", to say the least. Honestly, it's just having a smart and dedicated President who makes things happen. Another reason we should never elect a "professor" because they do their best work in a coddled and safe environment.

 

I noticed two articles in the past couple of days. Colorado was purple and turned blue so this is a little out of character. I wonder if this is happening in other states. Casting a vote for Trump is pretty much just a "screw you Democrats" statement since it's already a forgone conclusion that Trump is gong to be our candidate.

Your telling me that the summary of the report is that there isn't any information to prove Trump was an agent of Russia is because Trump was too good an agent, and didn't leave enough tracks to follow. Encrypted and deleted information...amazing. The Red Banner Institute, or as Trump would say, Академия внешней разведки, did a great job of training him! He outsmarted the entire Western intelligence community and the New York Times! Astounding!

 

We have a conspiracy theory section for that.

 

YES! believe believe believe. All sides BELIEVE that which they want to hear. We then declare ourselves experts because we KNOW what happened... and why.

We live in the high tech media driven fantasy world. We get to pick and choose our own brand of truth. The real tragedy is the truth doesn't even matter because the outcome was determined before the show began.

Sadly trump is failing in the same way his predecessor did. He isn't leading. The R's and the D's still run the show.
