The voters of the UK choose to leave 3 years ago. At least there is a choice and all countries of the EU have excepted this choice.
Its called democracy and the members of the EU are sovereign countries.
In the US that is not possible, tanks would roll.

You brought up the US as a wonderful example how democracy should be.
I point out how flawed the US System is.

If you can not take the heat, than do not bring up the US as a good example.

My argument wasn't that that the US was the greatest example of representative democracy ever, it was that it is in fact a representative democracy, and the EU is not. And yes, this sounds exactly like you were complaining about the UK.

 

As I pointed out to you, the EU is far more a representative Democracy than the US.

No, it is not a complain about the UK. I am pleased that it will have a strong government, with a strong majority and that the farce of the last 3 years finally ends. They voted leave 3 years ago and than screwed up their domestic politics and everybody had to wait for them, to get their domestic screw up sorted out. That is my only complain.
Finally they might get it done. You want to leave, leave.
I feel sad for the many friends I have in the UK and the ex-pats I know, because their access to the EU will be complicated and for the younger folks I know, who had plans, based on the free access, the freedom of movement. Locked out.
Have you any idea how complicated, lengthy and expensive it is, to get a work permit, or residency permit in a foreign country?
