Labour were seen as commies and anti semites and I can't say I blame people for thinking that.

Other EU nations should shape up and fly straight and leave the EU as its crashing in globalist ashes.

This is a big message for the DNC, if they attempt to counter the US electorate's drift to the right by pulling to the left they will be out in the wilderness for a generation.

It doesn't matter. They aren't capable of altering themselves.

Their hatred for The Orange Man has made them slaves to their anger.

If this post is an exemplar of typical EU thought I can see why Britain wants to split the blanket.

Will we need it, or will the EU need the luck? Good luck getting more money out of the recession bound Germans, or the 'burning' French, or the inclusive Italians.

Bleak times ahead for the EU. Enjoy your devastating unemployment numbers and tanking currency.

So help me out. How does parliament work?

With one party having the majority with only 43%, can a single party enact new laws on their own with less than 50%? I do understand that there are multiple degrees of conservative and liberal that may side with Labour or Conservative party.

I truly don’t know how politics work in the UK.

The EU is not a country. I don't think you can successfully pull off economic integration without the prerequisite loss of sovereignty and most people in the UK probably didn't think when they first joined the European Common Market decades ago that the goal was to eliminate national sovereignty and become a superstate, with the United Kingdom becoming a mere province in a larger empire.

Please point out on the forum where you "saw this coming."

A common theme on this forum. Non American posts volumes on US domestic policy and US constitutional law, but then gets offended when an American posts about some other country.

Northern Ireland is part of the UK and "Ireland" isn't. They are already different countries.

Well we'll see if your prediction of IRA terrorism comes to pass.

Plus the crossswinds of Victory will be felt in the U.S. because President
Trump was correct all along. That his steady friendship and belief in Boris
Johnson was correct all along. Both men desperately hoping Britain will return
to better days where strong leadership for a strong Britain is seen.As with
the days & Nights of a Margaret Thatcher. Not like the belligerent EU path
Angela *Merkel chose for her Germany.
Which explains why on - Morning Joe - they are hyping utter nonsense.
Like why would a our Country favor a Leader as stupid and wrongsided
in Foreign Affairs as Donald Trump.Who keeps building up his international
mascot Putin.Yeah, keep singin' that song ... Traitor.
Our Country is virtually in the throes of Traitors from within.
Just as our Founders warned. They warned about uber partisanship
in the event of Impeachment. We just saw Firsthand what they referred to.
    Traitors in our midst.Like Comey,Brennan and Clapper.Like Pelosi,Schumer
and Schiff/NAdler.This is as easy and demonstrable to understand as a
schoolyard bully who has a sadistic streak as wide and obvious as a
    new STOP sign.

    * Just voted World's most powerful woman.
Power can be most often found in the mind of a Devil worshipper.
Or career criminal on the Lam.Pope John Paul had power.
But he never used it to undermine truth and Godliness.

IN a parlimenatry system, the one with the most seats has the majority and decide what the policies will be. The % has no meaning.

Nah, parliementary is fine. The worst are the mixed list representative democracy where it's totally impossible for a single party to hold the power and thus are always at the mercy of alliance with other, sometime, conflicting ideology party. Think Italy and Israel for example.

Yep, because the E.U. needs The United Kingdom one hell of a lot more than the U.K. needs the E.U. What this is really all about it the worry that if a former empire wants to return to independent existence then what's to prevent France or Germany from deciding the same thing. The E.U is held together by the most fragile of threads. That is a dangerous way to exist.

Note to self, Boris.... DON'T CALL URKAINE
It's been over 3 years since the people of the United Kingdom voted to leave the EU. The globalist have worked to try and make Brexit go away. Johnson wasn't having it and the recent elections have the people supporting him. The globalist have an agenda and people like Trump and Johnson are not players with the globalist. Trump has always been a target, even well before he was elected as he was a threat to globalism. The Conservative victory in the UK is a major issue for globalism. Johnson better increase his security and get his legal team ready to go as he, like Trump, officially has a target on them.

Yes, but it was the EU Deal that allowed them to create duel citizenships and free flowing across the boarder. This will stop that.

Also, I very very much hope I'm wrong, but stuff like this doesnt help

Britain and surrounding community gave a resounding No to
Marxism. To a PC mindset. To the tragic consequence of dabbling in
Communism or with Marxist bullets placed by " nasty, aggressive, intolerant,
historically illiterate Social Justice Warriors who think the only problem
wrong with Communism is that it hasn't been tried properly " -- J.Delingpole

I am from Germany, living in the US.
I am old enough to remember, when you needed a visa to visit an other European Nation, or had to apply for work permits, a very lengthy process. I remember the long lines of trucks at border crossings.
All that will happen again at the UK border.
Over the last 40 years, the UK economy was tuned to the EU market, which is 500 million people strong and naturally with its 70 plus trade deals. All that will be lost.
4 million expats, British, will now be in limbo, might loose their future, homes, jobs and so on.
    How great is that?
No, the mood is not very gloomy in Europe. Europe had 3 years to prepare. It was a given, that Brexit would happen. There is more a mood of relieve. Finally the UK made up its mind and has a government with a solid majority to get Brexit done.
Europe has turned away from the UK 2 years ago and done its business without the UK and its domestic mess.

The only question now still unanswered, what Brexit will Johnson do, hard or soft ?

Great news on the election, Boris is Trump-approved.
