    I wouldn't think we need to go quite that far, but I do think that is the right track. We have lawsuits filed withno sound basis, with the intention of getting a settlement to avoid the costs of defense- and that's a form of extortion.

    So your point is that you think the dems are going to decrease spending on healthcare to $3300 a year so that we mimic Britain. Or is it your take that some private healthcare insuance company could take 25% of that 3300 for profit and overhead and pay the providers more?

    Exactly- that would be the prime purpose of that rule. The aspect of having the attorneys on the hook for that cost would be especially effective.

    Hahahahaha, people were dying from getting the wrong operations at Walter Reed where I went in the mid 1980's. I am guessing you have never served nor used the VA for any length of time.It is closed now after the infamous 2007 scandal..

    Trump never ran the VA. It was the GOP who controlled congress, and decided on how much money to give the VA. And it was the GOP who decided to short them on funding and manpower, which lead to numerous deaths.

    The GOP also opposed giving free healthcare to 9/11 first responders for the treatment of illness they got from their work at ground zero.

    John Hopkins study acknowledges at least a quarter million die every year due to medical errors, but most experts feel the real number is much closer to half a million as hospitals,doctors and nurses all try to cover their own backsides.

    Trump currently runs it...and the gop never cut funding to the va it’s budget has increased yearly

    And the gop did not oppose the 911 funding. It passed without a problem

    We now have a VA pathologist on trial for misdiagnosing thousands of patients in the Fayettville VA hospital from 2005 through 2018 because he was DRUNK ON THE JOB every day and no one turned him in.He is responsible for the deaths of at least 15 and countless others who he failed to diagnose with cancers which could have been properly treated if caught in the early stages, many suffered needlessly because of this DRUNK!!There is no mention of punishing those who failed to report his habitual drunk state.He has adversely affected the lives of thousands.

    No, you can go wherever you like just as you can, but the first x dollars are covered by Medicare. Some doctors charge more than others.

    45.1% of people have private cover as well.

    You DO know don’t you that many of these stories are “pay for opinion” stories put out by health insurance companies drooling over doing to the UK what they have done to the average American

    But I tell you what my UHC here covers

    Let us say you have an accident in the middle of well, let’s say here

    Car insurance companies stopped paying the extortion and started going to court and winning. Once attorney's realized they would have to fight for the vig......they stopped the law suit blizzard.
