    My biggest criticisms of Trump and Obama was not getting us all the way out of Afgn. We really accomplished the mission less than a year after the invasion. Killing Bin Laden didn't do anything but give us a "cheer". A year after the invasion the Taliban/ALQ were crippled and sent to live in the caves or hide among civilians.

    All one has to do is every week take a look at how many CSG are at sea in their AOR's and how many other ships are in their AOR, and at sea...-> https://news.usni.org/category/fleet-tracker

    Or if you live near San Diego, Bremerton or Norfolk, look at how many ships are in port.

    aside from Obamacare (thanks to McCain), Obama’s regulations targeting private companies have been largely wiped out. Don’t worry, it will be completely done by the time Ivanka becomes the first female president on Jan 20, 2025.

    I'm thinking is that the current ROE were written by former Sec of Def "Mad Dog" Gen. Mattis.

    But I also have heard and read the ROE are being left to the local commanders in the field.

    Obama publicly supported the Arab Spring and may had played a part in the Arab Spring.

    Obama saw the Arab Spring as a way to put the Muslim Brotherhood in power throughout the Middle East with regrime changes, Egypt, Libya and Syria.

    Egypt and Libya didn't work out as planned and the regime change in Syria turned into a civil war then the first proxy war of Cold War ll and kinda looks like Putin won the first proxy war.

    Jordan would have likely been Obama's 4th regime change attempt if Obama had succeeded in Syria.
    But Obama drew a red line in the sand and got into a staring match with Vladimir Putin and Obama blinked.

    No different than Obama who fired every officer in the military who wasn't politically correct and a yes man.

    Any good commander knows he doesn't want to surround himself with yes men during war time.

    From a Plt. Commander to POTUS, you don't want everyone around you being a yes man.

    This could be one of Trump's flaws and it just wasn't Trump.

    If I were President Trump I would have kept the war mongering NEOCON John Bolton on the national security adviser team.

    JFK surrounded himself with his Harvard buddies. Not everyone was a yes man but JFK may have listened to those who weren't yes men but he ignored them and only paid attention to what were known back in the day as the "young and brightest" who in the endgame ended up not being so bright. JFK's "young and brightest" got us into a shooting war in Vietnam.

    Obama only had yes men in the White House and on his cabinet whose only job was to protect the Obama White House. Under Obama every executive branch of the government was politicized including the FBI.

    Even having Joe Biden as Obama's VP was nothing more than an insurance policy from being impeached and removed from office.

    Joe Biden has never been right about anything.

    Obama kept many Republicans in positions of power, Obama did not have a fragile ego like Trump does

    Obama did not have his staff sign personal NDA's not to ever say anything negative about him, his family or his businesses or disagree with him publicly
