    Socialism doesn't need a qualifier. It is simply democracy in both the political and economic spheres. Workers control over production. Not State Capitalism as in the USSR.

    No, you should look up the meanings if the words, and the difference between democratic socialism (government owns and operates means of production), and social democracy (free market economy with tax payer funded social services).

    The guy who Trump (and you) support is a socialist, who wants the government to own and operate means of production. Far more socialist than any country in EU.

    It is democracy only if it started with democratic elections. If it starts with a revolution as it did in Cuba, then it is simply a socialist country. The economic system is same, no matter how they got there.
