The purpose of the sanctions is to make the people suffer until they cry "uncle." Just like the US did in Nicaragua and Chile. The US then delivers humanitarian aid to the US backed opposition.

Norway and Denmark are Social Democracies with free market economies, while Venezuela is Democratic Socialist aka Socialist, where government controls the economy. Trumps boy in VZ is also a socialist, so they are trying to replace one socialist with another.

It is accurate about Norway and Denmark. If you disagree, you'll have to explain why. Norwegian government owns their oil company, and that IS socialism, but for the most part their economy is based on free markets.

The government owns and operates 30% of the corporations in VZ, so it is not 100% socialist, but it's pretty socialist. Since every nation has aspects of socialism, I wish there was a scale to demonstrate how socialist a nation is. Venezuela would rank pretty high on that scale. It is not a model you want to follow.
