Vaseline is made by Unilever. Like nearly all companies selling in the USA it is not an American company, but a British company.

They sell to 2 billion people a day worldwide. These are their most known products:
    Unilever's best-known brands include:
    • Food: Ben & Jerry's; Bovril; Colman's; Cornetto; Flora; Hellmann's; I Can't Believe It's Not Butter; Knorr; Magnum; Marmite; Pot Noodle; Wall's.
    • Drink: Lipton; Lyons tea; PG Tips;
    • Household: Comfort; Domestos; Dove Soap; Lynx; Persil; Radox; Sure; Surf; Timotei; Tresemme; Vaseline.

I understand you only support super extra white old racial segregationist men like Joe Biden. Are you sure Biden is white enough for you?

It's not just this commercial. You are not grasping the big picture here. This commercial is propaganda that is funded by rich corporations. This propaganda is becoming prevalent in many aspects of American life. It's not just fringe people on this forum, there are people in congress voicing the same sentiments in this commercial. This propaganda is being aimed at whites, in particular white males. So when I as a white male, see politicians and rich corporate business owners leveraging their powers against me and agitating different demographics to mobilize their hatred towards me, I see a systemic problem that could affect me and my future children. I don't want to raise my white children in a country where politicians and rich business owners can persecute them with no repercussions. I don't know why this is so hard for progressives to grasp.

Death threats from Trump supporters are very common towards those who publicly disagree with Trump. Even Trump-supporting politicians, like the Lt. Gov of Georgia, have received death threats.

Aside from threats, any publicly known person who criticises Trump online, in print, or on television gets vilified in very ugly ways, often via Twitter but also via the growing number of alternative social media platforms for those groups that, because of their hate spewing, have been banned from Twitter or Facebook.

    https://www.newsweek.com/trump-biden-defeat-violent-threats-social-media-1551461

"On social media, users describing themselves as Trump supporters are encouraging each other with fresh conspiracy theories and outrage as events unfold. Threats of individual violence are common. So too is incitement to mass violence."

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...the-name-of-trump-supporters-attacks-database

It isn't limited to words, either:

    https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/blame-abc-news-finds-17-cases-invoking-trump/story?id=58912889

"... a nationwide review conducted by ABC News has identified at least 54 criminal cases where Trump was invoked in direct connection with violent acts, threats of violence or allegations of assault."

And FYI: "ABC News could not find a single criminal case filed in federal or state court where an act of violence or threat was made in the name of President Barack Obama or President George W. Bush."

You asked for documentation ... careful what you wish for, because you may get it.

Yeah, they suddenly forgot about their riots, looting, arson, assaults, torn down statues, cancelling everything in sight and who can forget their day of screaming at the sky?

Alan Jope, CEO of Unilever the company that owns Vaseline.

    https://www.thedrum.com/news/2019/0...-the-woke-washing-ads-polluting-brand-purpose

Unilever's new chief executive Alan Jope has warned brands against cashing in on culture wars by 'woke-washing' in advertising, claiming the purpose category is being "polluted" by brands that fail to take real action.

"Expecting brands to embrace a role in society beyond what they sell, 91% of millennials would switch brands for one which champions a cause and 64% of global consumers say they choose brands because of their stand on social issues."

Jope's advice on how to avoid 'woke-washing'?

To reject campaign briefs from brands that don't "walk the talk" on purpose, and instead, "unleash purpose" with "creative ideas that move people, change perceptions, and inspire action."

    ________________________________

So he is whoring out his brands, capitalizing on social issues, in order to turn a profit and stay relevant.

I'm not sure if they're aware of this, but their target market doesn't spend a lot of time in the condom isle.

Really? Is that your argument? It's the LEFT who have done those things, so all of those who support and excuse the LEFT follow suit right along with them.

If the people alive today can be responsible for 400 years of poor skin care by people they never knew and are long gone, then what more do you want?

The only color that matters to him is green. This has been a problem in America for decades and we are seeing it decay our society to the point it is almost unrecognizable

    A) What pray tell does any of that have to do with people being called out for getting triggered by a commercial?
    B) Who in this thread made excuses for the rioting, looting, arson, etc?
