Not in a crowd like that and when they are in physical contact and the spray can get on them.

You're telling me they can't restrain this woman without punching her in the face?

    Authoritarian apologist.

Juvenile my ass. You keep excusing bad behavior by cops in every thread. I never denied she spat at the cops or kicked them. Again, that does not excuse them hitting her like this.

The cops get paid to keep the peace. Not take their frustrations out on people.

And yes. You do make me sick with your odious and noisome self and your paltry, grotesque and perpetual apologism for the abuse of the civilian at the hands of the cop.

I never endorsed violence by anyone when dealing with cops. I don't think they should deal with physical abuse. But that doesn't mean they get to take their frustrations out on the public.

No. I will never ever agree with such an absurdly long prison sentence as you propose. Cops are civil servants. They are not above reproach and this whole protectionism has to go away.

As would I. Does it hurt? Yes. But guess what? It would have been within protocol. As it stands this idiotic pig took out his frustration by punching an unarmed woman in the face.

He's a shameful ****ing loser and I hope he never holds a job in law enforcement again.

You rely on cops for your own protection? Ha ha ha.

While it's still wouldn't be qualified as "intelligent", it would have been better indeed. They hit girls behind the head often where you're from?

I was joking, the tazer would have been more appropriate.

To rely on cops for protection sounds quite desperate to me.

I don't know where you're from, but a few light punches is lower on the force scale than either Pepper Spray or the Tazer.

They used no more force on her to get her under control than she used on them attempting to escape. If she was attempting to evade arrest and resisting you'd have a point with excessive force. Her claims will go nowhere.

Using pepper spray in a crowd of people is NEVER within protocol. Imagine the law suits if others close by her were affected.

I am. I am also in favor of neighborhood watches and self-defense. And revenge. Cops are only good for paperwork. The justice system is a lawyer's amusement park. Look at the idiots in the OP's video - is there anyone sane that would rely on such spastic clowns for their lives? Not for a second.

Totally different story than the eye witness told that I saw interviewed. The "fighting with everything she had" is not what was illustrated by the video I saw. What I saw was the woman was face down and the cop was punching her in the head.

No it's not and yes fighting with everything she had is CLEARLY shown in the video even after she received the blows to the head that she deserved. She could have submitted to the police attempting to enforce the law on the boardwalk. Instead she choose to become belligerent and engage in a physical assault on the police we pay to enforce the law.

Well a tazer only works under circumstances. A fleeing felon is not one of them.

No I keep pointing out unlawful behavior of citizens and the police taking proper and legal actions to take them into custody.

And forum rules require you attack the message not the messenger. I implore you to apply to forum rules else your post otherwise for lack of rebuttal will be reported in the future.

The eyewitnesses were on the beach and confirm she was violently resisting arrest. That being said it started back on the boardwalk were she was approach by law enforce for her violation of the law and then her arrogance and resistance to that law enforcement. What you saw was a woman who had already kicked a law enforcement officer in the nuts resisting arrest and then trying to flee the scene and then on who continued to physically resist arrest even spitting into the faces of the officers we pay to enforce said laws.

Resisting arrest is the most egregious charge ever. In the case of assault, the detainee is usually charged with both assault and resisting arrest.

Sometimes people are charged with resisting arrest when nothing else can be pinned on them. That should not be allowed by the legal system.
