Was Trump mad not bad. (or good)

Nobody twisted what he said and did. He said and did those things.

I certainly wasn't influenced by the media because I don't watch television. I go straight to the source as I don't need somebody to tell me to think about what I can see and hear for myself.

I'm not really understanding why people put any weight on any of that. By definition, the media is biased. That's their job, you know, they get to live indoors and buy food by doing what is expected of them by their employer and sponsors. That's how that formula works.

Trump was president. If he can't get access to scientific studies and speak to virus specialists who can.
I would argue Trump was so volatile that people just told him what he wanted to hear.

 

I'm beginning to understand how Trump thought the election was stolen now.
On election night Trump got some early leads and those around him (forever fearful of Trumps moods) were glad to feed the news to Trump, but as the figures began to level off they started to filter which results he saw. No one wanted to tell him that postal votes might not start being counted until the rest were finished. At some point in the day Trump began to talk of the vote being stolen. Later reports say he was speaking about the Democrats using postal voting to change previously understood voting patterns. However on the night those around him fearful of losing their jobs to Trumps anger took his claims literally and began looking for anything they could bring to him to support his claim.

So they fed Trump with stories about ballots being refused due to Sharpy pens being used and missing ballot papers. These were the usual conspiracy stories that do the rounds every election, but without anyone to offer a moderated view Trump began to believe that real fraud was happening.
In his mind seeing the states he was ahead in slowly one by one fall away lead Trump to believe the stories were actually true. He became apoplectic, raging and once again those terrified of his temper refused to correct any of his rantings.
Trump didn't get the truth because he didn't want the truth.

About one week later WHo finally got it right and told us how bad it really was. Trump closed the border to China three days later. Against the wishes of Biden I might add.

The agency said another concern was people may contaminate themselves by touching their face more frequently when they adjust, remove and dispose of their masks. Medical mask supplies were also needed by medical professionals overwhelmed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Oh he could. He just chose the information that fit his own preconceived ideas.. Any "leader" that calls a pandemic a HOAX........has his own agenda ........and it is NOT in the best interest of the people he is leading. Calling it a hoax contributed to the many deaths............and that makes him responsible for those deaths.. One does not minimize the severity of a dangerous pandemic........that is world wide.

By March most other countries in the world were in a full lockdown. At the end of February Trump was still saying the virus will fade away.

 

When Trump closed the border to China on Feb 2nd I believe, Biden was against it. Weeks later, your Democrats were telling people to go out and ride the bus, go to China Town, go to the parade,etc. The virus isn't that bad. Many Drs. believed that the virus might go away in the Summer, like other virus do. You need to listen to more than CNN and MSNBC.
