I am a veteran...U.S. Army. Vindman didn't disobey any order from his Commander in Chief. What order do you think he broke? They are required to obey only the lawful orders of their superiors. They also take an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC.

Did he report the POTUS' phone call to people outside his chain of command because he didn't agree with the POTUS' policy.

Has anyone suggested that it was other than Vindman's opinion? It was also the opinion of others...including the IG of Intelligence and the Director of National Intelligence, both Trump appointees, and both of whom concluded the WB complaint was "credible and urgent."
And, what order of Trump's do you think Vindman disobeyed?

I think one of the key takeaways was that Soldman told Ukraine on July 10th that aide was being withheld until a Biden investigation was opened.
The myth that they didn't know aid was being withheld is now debunked.
When you take this into account it is not surprising he felt Trump's favor was a demand.

Vindman was offered to be Ukraine’s Minister of Defense three times. If Russia had asked Michael Flynn three separate times to be Minister of Defense at the Kremlin, Democrats and media would have immediately held a field trial, summarily convicted Flynn, and offed him for treason. Yet media are pretending this is no big deal.

 

Quote the oath. Officers are commissioned by Congress, not the President, and their oath is to support and defend the Constitution, not the Commander-in-Chief. And, no part of his job as the specialist on Ukraine, on the NSC staff, was to distribute a summary of the call to people, with the proper clearances, which he apparently did along with his concerns, until he was told not to discuss his concerns with anyone else.

 

Opinion is not evidence of anything.

 

And Morrison did exactly the same thing.

 

Vindman inflated his importance before today. He had to amend his written testimony.

 

So did Sondland.

I don't even think the aid was FORMALLY held up by 7/10, but the testimonies that Williams AND Vindman knew about it on 7/3 was one of the more interesting things I learned today..

 

The Trumpservatives can no longer use the talking point that Ukraine didnt know the aid was being held up after today's testimony.

I can't wait to read their posts after they hear what Hannity and FOX News tell them what to say next.

 

Lost in the furor over Trump at the impeachment hearings is the fact that two witnesses have said that Joe Biden had a conflict of interest problem in Ukraine. These hearings will come back and bite Biden, assuming he lasts long enough to become the dem nominee.

They heard about it from leaks in the media. Probably by a democrat.

....which he then discussed with multiple people. His concerns were irrelevant. His actions are not.

Go find the oaths yourself, being all knowledgeable in the military stuff that you don't seem to understand.
