Then perhaps in my opinion you need someone other than Trump. I think Trump supporters and for the most part, Republicans fail to grasp how much Trump with his distasteful antic and name calling grates on swing voters or independents. History has shown usually folks don't vote for someone they dislike. Trump's problem is 10% of independents, swing voters like him a lot, 13% somewhat like while 9% of independents dislike him somewhat with 38% disliking him a lot. Question 111.

    https://docs.cdn.yougov.com/ogvntw3mu9/econTabReport.pdf

The numbers most important as I see them are the "a lots." Among independents that almost guarantees 10% will vote for him while 38% will vote against him. The somewhats are kind of fishy and change quite constantly, while the "a lots" have been pretty steady. Not changing much throughout Trump's presidency.

Do they, the swing voters dislike Trump because of his policies or what he has done or hasn't done as president. They support some of his policies and oppose some. A fairly even split. So why the huge gap? I think it's mainly because of Trump obnoxious personality and his very unpresidential behavior. Although I might be wrong about that. Will policy triumph persona, we'll probably have to wait until November to find out. I will add that Biden isn't Hillary Clinton, independents, swing voters dislike Biden a whole lot less than they did Hillary. Trump barely won the independent vote in 2016 46-42 over Hillary with 12% of these swing voters voting third party, against both major party candidates. Some 9 million voters.

Independents then switched to the Democratic Congressional candidates in 2018 by a 54-42 margin over the Republican congressional candidates. Isn't it interesting that the 42% of independents who voted for Hillary, plus the 12% who voted against both Hillary and Trump adds up to 54%. The exact same percentage Democratic congressional candidates received from independents. Coincidence? I don't know, but we'll find out in a few months.

The Trump Manufacturing Jobs Boom: 10 Times Obama's Over 21 Months

The Great Recession officially ended in June 2009, six months into former President Obama’s first term. The economy continued to shed jobs until the following March. Manufacturing was particularly hard hit, with almost 2.3 million manufacturing jobs—some 1 in 6—lost between January 2008 and March 2010.

As is the case during recoveries, jobs bounced back, with seasonally adjusted nonfarm employment expanding almost 12% from March 2010 until January 2017, when President Obama handed over the presidency to Donald Trump.

But during the same period, manufacturing employment grew only 7.7% with manufacturing payrolls virtually flat in the last 21 months of the Obama administration.

We were told it was the new normal.

At a town hall in June 2016, President Obama famously said that some manufacturing jobs “are just not going to come back.” He went on to mock then-candidate Trump by saying he’d need a “magic wand” to make good on this manufacturing job promises.

Months later, as the shock of a President-elect Donald Trump was still being absorbed, New York Times columnist and economist Paul Krugman tweeted on November 25, 2016, “Nothing policy can do will bring back those lost jobs. The service sector is the future of work; but nobody wants to hear it.”

If that were the case, Trump wouldn't have commissioned a whole team in Ukraine to smear him.

So Trump would be foolish enough to spend so much energy and resources on an easily defeated candidate?

Note that coming from Trump, it's possible.

Trump took the debt from 98% to 105% of GDP... in three years.

An all-time record in a period of growth.

Please tell us what Trump accomplished with that debt? Obama ran up as much debt in his two terms as all other Presidents combined and what did he have to show for it

Positive traits about Joe Biden (imo):

    1. Remarkably clean and straight teeth for his age
    2. Is not as crazy as the rest of the Democrat party are
    3. Now that Trump has been caught feeling up the girls , Joe’s creepy touchy syndrome seems less severe than before.
    4. Now that both House and Senate seem to have reached a consensus that the US Treasury can print as much money as needed to erase the 22 Trillion national debt. Joe Biden is the right man at the right time to take advantage of this phenomenon.

It was the tax cuts and cuts to regulations that brought back all those good jobs Obama lost with record high corporate taxes and near record regulations. Yes, taking in less taxes from them has caused a deficit. But consider this. Almost half a trillion of that debt went to repair our military that Obama allowed to go to hell. Over 700 billion. Billions more, 55 billion fixed the VA hospitals where thousands of our veterans were dying waiting to get in and get good care. He spent 100 billion fixing up minority neighborhoods to make them safer and bring in jobs. Billions more spent on Obama care that was suppose to end when Obama left office. With more and more businesses now moving in instead of out, they will be paying taxes we never got before. With the millions of new jobs created, they will be paying taxes, many didn't pay before and both will be buying and paying taxes. So if the Democrats don't scare companies away with the talk of winning and raising taxes, America should continue to grow and the deficit should go down, or hopefully not get bigger. One thing is for sure. More Americans are working now than ever before and making better wages. Our military and VA is fixed. Trump made good use of that money. How did Obama do with a 9 trillion dollar debt? ( I wrote this about a year ago. Obviously the virus has changed everything)

Conservatives don't make decisions based on emotions. I don't have to like someone personally to respect the job they do. Trump is the same guy today he was 10 years ago. I'm amazed at the people who expected him to change.

Biden isn't Trump... is that his strongest asset?

Given Trump's complete failure at everything, that would easily be enough. Biden's intelligence, his ability to get things done and his morality just make the job easier.

The funny thing is watching Trump's moron brigades all chanting "DERP! DERP! WE THINK BIDEN IS DUMB, DERRRRRP!", because it's what they were told to say, as their DearLeader drools out more stupidity each day.

The funnier thing will be watching their meltdowns after Biden takes 360+ EV. Reality is gonna smack 'em hard.

You won't find it because it's not true.

Comparing debt with GDP, the record belongs to Bush 43, with two wars and the 2008 crisis.

Stanley Black and Decker closing China plant.... Moving to Texas

    Chinese Co, moving to Ohio
His company, Fuyao Glass, has invested over $1 billion stateside, according to the Post, the most significant move of which is opening its U.S. Factory in the Ohio town of Moraine, a suburb of Dayton, back in October. The glass maker is re-purposing the town’s former General Motors assembly that had been standing empty since late 2008, as the Dayton Daily News reports.

According to Ohio TV station WDTN, the plant now employs a workforce of almost 2,000, and Cao expects that the fully operational facility will employ up to 3,000 workers.

    https://fortune.com/2016/12/22/us-china-manufacturing-costs-investment/

    Tianyuen Garments Co.
In October of last year, Tianyuan Garments Co. Acquired a defunct 100,000-square foot metal fabrications plant in Little Rock, Arkansas and announced a $20 million investment that will make them the first Chinese manufacturing company to manufacture clothing in the US. The company is refurbishing the facility set to open later this year and plans to employ 400 workers to produce clothes for brands like Adidas, Reebok, and Armani.

    Sun Paper Industry
Another big announcement from a Chinese manufacturing company in the past year is from Chinese paper products maker, Sun Paper Industry. They recently announced a $1 billion investment that will create 250 US jobs at their new bio-products mill in South Arkansas.

Local and state governments in the US are able to offer incentives to foreign companies that tip the scales in favor of moving from China to the US. Many Chinese manufacturing companies are now realizing that the lower transportation costs and taxes are making it more profitable to do business in North America than in Asia. As the trend grows, the Chinese companies who provide so many manufactured goods to the North American market are finding that employing American workers is the most profitable method of production.
