Chances of a civil war? Very, very low. But I do think the chances of us having an unelected President are getting higher and higher. I mistakenly once said that Trump and his followers were the greatest threat to our democracy, but that they weren't an existential threat. I have to take it back now, after seeing all of his actions since losing the election, and the support he's received for it, I have to take it back. The threat is now existential.

 

BLM and Antifa are well trained and organized. Killing people would only gain them enemies in public opinion. Burning and looting made them freedom fighters. Their lack of killing demonstrates their level of discipline and training.

 

We already HAVE an unelected President... at least LEGALLY elected.

Not so much the building as the people inside the building. Some of the rioters said they wanted to assassinate Congressmen and Senators. They did in fact occupy rooms hat contained sensitive information. I'm not saying it was a revolution or that's what they intended, but it's a helluva lot closer than rioting in a ghetto like BLM.

I agree. We are too divided, and politics has gotten personal in ways it didn't in the past. If elections in 2022 and 2024 are entirely on the up and up, no suspicions of fraud, we might avoid it and I pray that is the case. If not, I see no other way this can play out.

If this were to happen, Biden's old friend, China, would be brought in. And when it's over, China will scoop up the U.S. and voila! we'll be a communist territory (and the Bidens will be paid, but that's another story). Our only hope would be that other countries would step in to help, to keep that from happening.

No, not good at all. That's like using a News Story from last October to argue that the Hunter laptop story was Russian disinformation. After I checked the date on the first story I saw that the date was Jan 15th. I thought to myself, "I bet all of these stories are from January, when hysteria was at it's height." And sure enough, they all were. Why no story from the past 3 months? Shouldn't this assassination attempts be in court filings and be part of charges for the January 6th rioters?
