Actually Sweetie - the real reduction comes not with firearm reduction itself but with securement of those firearms. Which makes sense because a significant proportion of those deaths are spur of the moment - suicides and homicides. We have more guns in Australia now than we did in 1996. Admittedly we do not have semi-automatics and high speed rapid fire weapons (and most of us cannot see a REASON to even THINK about owning one of those - but then we do not have a strong belief system that there will be government tyranny/zombie apocalypse.) But we DO have more firearms per capita than then. So why has our rates of mass murder, firearm homicides, firearm related suicides etc risen? Because we are legislated to keep firearms secured when not in use
Actually it does - firstly there is the issue of lethality of the method https://www.mja.com.au/journal/2010...tes-and-methods-suicide-between-1988-and-2007 http://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMp0805923
Explain not only why you believe that filling out a form, or taking a class will discourage both suicide and felony murder, but also how this would occur.
Universal background checks Mandatory training on guns Doctors can have the right to own guns suspended Mandatory gun safes Universal registration
Where I live who is going to protect you? You? Highly doubtful. You become a soft target and an example. - - - Updated - - - If the current climate continues virtually a certainty.
Protect me? Ten year active duty and you think I am helpless? I would love that. Bring your own body bag
No - but if you confined it to the board of directors/executives http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2013/01/nra-board-members-selleck-nugent
Why? What are the indications? Remembering that if America goes into civil meltdown it will affect a lot of other countries
Interesting. In the US, ince 1993, gun-related violet crimes - including murder - have fallen by more than 50%, we have millions upon millions of guns more now than we did then, and we have no such silly laws. How do you explain that?
A lot of the conditions that led to the Spanish Civil War are in play in the US. A remarkable analogy.
It's not a movie. If you know anything at all you know this. Isolated, alone and with little support you "should" know what happens. In rural America it would be laughable.
Found this great video. All stats are from the FBI and Harvard. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NyK0Pc_o8BU&list=TLX-fJvqyuVkswMzAyMjAxNg
Keep it up kid. Did you get this from playing video games? I don't believe a word of what you say. Not a bit. Another internet Rambo/Kung Fu. You have no practical knowledge and it shows. No training. No insight. No nothing. Otherwise you'd be able to converse with those of who can. You can't.
