No, it's not 'semantics' you made a very specific claim alleges that religious families do not accept their 'alternate lifestyle' (?) family members and it causes large numbers of suicides. When called to pony up, you hem and hawwed, and still are.

On a personal note...my sister in law is very Christian ( though she never acts like it) and her son is gay. She tried to deny it and in many ways hide him from family...he got married to his husband two years ago. When her son came out she all but disowned him and treated him as diseased until he simply moved to another state and even till this day she barely even talks to or of him....she has lost her own son and the respect of almost everyone outside her church family. We no longer invite my wifes own brother over because he would bring her....its a pity.
My own spouse has cousins who were raised by their mother after their father was killed in a car accident at a relatively young age. The eldest son married an evangelical woman and they had two children. When Christmas time came around she invited her MIL but not her other son because he was gay. Her MIL told her where to shove her Christmas and went and spent the day with her gay son instead. Worth noting that all of them are Christians but only the evangelical hates her gay BIL. The married son was killed at about the same age that his father died leaving her to raise her own kids alone. Be ironic if one of her two kids ends up being gay.
I just find it upsetting if not disgusting that a religion of love with no judgement shows so little love and no acceptance in its "Flock". We see it here on this forum and it is even worse in real life experience....either ignorant stupidity or simple hatred are in play.
Christianity preaches about loving your fellow man but evangelicals ignore that part because it doesn't meet with their approval.

It's ignorance...people too stupid to think and rationalize for themselves. I have a brother who is righteous in religion and now with conservative politics...and he no longer speaks to me. This is happening across the USA! It's no surprise to me that Trump's rabid conservative flock is made up of the same rabid Christians...all of them greedy and righteous and could care less about what's in the best interest of the USA over their own perceived needs. To hell with facts or any sense of compassion! I've always hated religious dogma and now I hate political dogma which doesn't leave much to talk about these days...

Yep. The real culture war is over the character of the nation and its leaders. Is this going to be a good country, or a bad country? It isn't about economics or immigration or abortion or health care. No one can be so naive as to think trump is a good person. And that's the point. THEY DON'T CARE. I'll be a sob. In this country, and they don't care what kind of man he is. And they don't see the obvious threat to liberty and democracy. They are deaf and blind, but they can certain talk. It is the saddest thing that has ever happened in America. It has turned to the dark side. Not even the pretense of honor or decency remains.

Christian Fundamentalists are very much like Islamic Fundamentalists. Their religion is far more about the vitriolic hatred they use it to justify rather than anything else. It's a level of hypocrisy which we can't understand because most of us would just renounce our religion entirely rather than eschew its most fundamental tenets root and branch, but that does not seem to occur to some people.
Still not getting it? NONE of the above REFUTES the FACT that FAMILY REJECTION is one of the CAUSES for committing suicide. If there was MORE family rejection there would be MORE suicides. Therefore if there is LESS family rejection then there will be LESS suicides. Capiche?
Makes me recall when I was on a business trip and I could not sleep so I was watching a movie in my hotel room that only ended well after midnight. I got up and went to the bathroom and when I came back there were these two hot girls making out in a hot tub. Both of them well endowed blonds and it was engrossing.
