China is doing nothing more than re-establishing a position of preeminence in world civilization that it had formerly enjoyed for several thousand years due to unique geographic and ethnic gifts. If the West will just let it do so China will soon become among the most egalitarian and democratic nations in the world, which she has been several times before.

I'd love to believe that but I don't see it, we all hoped that technological and economic advancement would make China more democratic but it didn't work out that way.

Hahahahahahahahaahahaha! Sure and next thing you're going to tell me that any Western countries are Marxist, good one!

Forgive me who is List and how are they relevant? Ditto for the 30th September massacres in 1792?

I remember it and the South Koreans undoubtedly thank the US every day for saving them from communism. So again, what atrocities?

So what? My Lai was an exception for the Allied forces, it was the norm for the VC

USAF flew several million sorties in Vietnam and killed about a million civilians during that war. About 1.5 million civilians were killed by USA in Korean War.

There was moderate anti-Semitism in USSR. Nothing severe. Nothing I noticed. I was not bullied for being a Jew. I was Class Clown #2.

The Nazis only signed the non-Aggression pact in 1939, just months before they went to war with most of Europe. It was really just a matter of both countries trying to out-maneuver each other before they entered into a conflict that both saw as inevitable. Britain and France were both hoping that Germany and Russia would tear each other apart, and that is what eventually happened but Germany first nearly destroyed both of them while Russia took half of Poland and then watched.

Very very few people who committed the crime of Anti-Communist Propaganda after Stalin suffered any repercussions. In any American University, slightest Political Incorrectness guarantees firing and blacklisting.

I think the 70 million Trump voters not only make the US a threat to the western world, but the world as a whole.

During Korean War, USAF and to a lesser extent military purposefully targeted civilians. Thus, about 1.5 million North Korean civilians were killed by USA.

Yeah, lots of countries were influenced by Marx and his ideas, not just western. Literally his ideas were the foundation for sociology.

List-the guy who came up with the opposite of Free Trade. 30th September Massacres and Communism, and you got something from 1792? Look in Indonesia.

I'm certain you think South Koreans were thankful for the US and all the help the US gave, when they weren't being shelled by the US.

The US literally invaded a foreign country... because they didn't want to be imperialized. The US became the very thing it swore to destroy. My Lai wasn't an outlayer, think Napalm and Agent Orange.

That would help to explain why MacArthur wanted to invade China too, it makes sense when you add this.

The Chinese are an ethnicity, not a race. As an ethnicity, they have many unique historical characteristics. They are the largest unified human group that has occupied an extensive area of the Earth's surface for about all of recorded history both as a dominant group in that area and as one of the more prominent ethnicities in the world. If you examine China's history it is very easy to see it as the major nation on Earth with several other civilizations as outliers over the years to greater or lesser extents. We "occidental" peoples have a view distorted by the fact that we live in one of the more benighted backwaters of our planet which has only recently become even a leader let alone the main one.

USSR was a nuclear power since 1949. Thus, President Truman did not want to risk a nuclear war.

Do you mean the extreme left in the USA?

Do you mean Americans who are corrupt and are willing to take bribes from China....... or collaborate with Chinese Honeypot Spies?

Would Stalin have risked Russia for Korea? I doubt it.
