You did not take the increasing levels of illness that come with increased use of pharm products into account. Americans are fatter and sicker than ever and this "Medicare for all" is only making things worse. Our problems with obesity and illness is not a spending problem or Americans would be the healthiest on the planet.

Pharm companies are enjoying record profits while Americans are paying with their lives.

We are a country.

When those with low incomes lost their jobs, can't pay rent, don't have enough money to pay for kids getting internet access to the only schooling available, can't afford health care, etc., AND the wealthy are getting richer faster than ever, something is absolutely WRONG about our country.

Telling these peoole to eat **** and die is NOT an option. They are all ours, just like other country's citizens are all theres.

We're not somehow cooler or superior for not giving a crap about our citizens. We're not richer as a country because we screwed the poor folks. We're not morally superior for causing people to try to raise their families while living in tents on the streets.

 

Our country and EVERY OTHER first world country believes there are fundamental needs that we as a country believe need to be met. And, when individuals can't meet those needs, there is a government interest in helping.

One time I bought a chorizo breakfast taco and opened it up to put salsa on it. There were two roaches stuck in the cheese. Dead, thankfully. I did not put them in my mouth.
