    It's clear Don doesn't want a wall or a compromise. He wants the fight to keep the base agitated. Remember, the rule of thumb is always that Don does what is good for him...........the country comes second.

    We won't know for sure until Trump comes up with a noble project, which seems unlikely. As it stands, has he gotten Any legislation through congress other than to give himself a tax cut?

    You stumbled onto a truth. Trump does do what is best for Trump. You got that right.

    What you missed is that Trump has hooked his wagon to American prosperity and peace. Trump benefits when America benefits.

    The wall is GOOD for Trump BECAUSE it's GOOD for America.

    The wall is BAD for Democrats BECAUSE its GOOD for America.

    dems would support medicare for all if Trump wants to offer it, how about single payer for Trumps wall, sounds like a deal to me - of course republicans would never go for that deal

    so Trump is taking America hostage unless he gets what he wants

    that is not the art of the deal.... that is taking hostages and threatening to harm them unless you get what you want

    Trump can deal with Democrats, offer citizenship for DACA or single payer or a public option... fair trade for a wall

    to make a deal, both sides need to get something they want, trump wants a wall, what is he willing to give dems for the wall

    no, he did not.... he just offered to extend their state of limbo, he did not offer them a path to citizenship.. but I think you know this - how about dems offer to revisit the wall in 3 years, that is what Trump wants to do with DACA, that is not a deal

    Fact, Trump's first year in office was the lowest jobs gains in 7 years, and his second was the worst year for stocks in a decade. That's not all Trump's fault but your comment is still a facepalm.

    Yep, Trump knows that if the Democrats don't negotiate that he easily wins in 2020.

    Once again, the Dems are responding as if they believe their own propaganda about Trump not knowing what he is doing.

    Pelosi has no choice but to let Trump win for her very own preservation of power. It is quite obvious that she also knows this.

    The nuts are running the Democrat Party asylum. The wacko Leftists could have Pelosi's head on a stick if she allows Trump to secure the border. Pelosi is cornered into supporting blatant and overt Anti-Semitism, hatred for law enforcement, Open Borders helping Drug Cartels and Human Traffickers, and Sanctuary Cities. Pelosi got into power originally as a Liberal heavy-fundraising power broker, but also as a political pragmatist.     The job growth picked up after the Trump Tax Cut that every Democrat voted against, because they knew it was good for America. Since the GOP/Trump Tax cuts, employment, especially among minorities, is at record highs.

    The Stock Market has done and is doing just fine under Trump... But that's not as important as the economy, which has the strongest growth since the last time a Republican was POTUS.
