You understand that your map disproves your point, don't you?
    AK-13.4
    La-5.9
    OK-2.7
Wy-14.7... Lots of negatives in those Red states.

What? Fully 1% of New York state migrates away from that shithole every year? I hadn't expected a full percentage point a year.

Lack of manufacturing and job availability.

Obvious why people move from there.

Cant say the same for CA, NY, or IL. In fact, it's the complete opposite. So why do you believe people cant wait to move away?

    That was my OP.

Where do you think those people are coming from? California, perhaps?

I dunno... I moved from the liberalest place in the country and the schools are garbage, arts are there if you count graffiti, services are a pita thanks to recycling, not all that many jobs that pay enough to live there, and the extremely high property values are mostly due to rent control.

Each to his own, I guess. I know lots of people like to live in very "progressive" cities, but I couldn't stand the place.

You’ll never have to worry about me moving to a red state. I am a lifelong Californian and have no plans to move. I love my blue state.

I admit that you don't learn the fine art of stump training a sheep in the city. However, there are some advantages nonetheless.

The East. Life is so much better in the West.

In the late 1970's there was a series of Earthquakes in California. One of which swallowed whole, the headquarters of the Focus on the Family crowd, sucking it straight to hell, where it came from. So they moved to Colorado, across I-25 from the Air Force Academy. This caused a migration from California to Colorado. Which, over time turned Colorado red and California blue. And while the Colorado Springs area remains freakishly red, the economic engine, and the political power, of the state, is in the Front Range area, from Denver northwards, making Colorado blue, once again. I'm sure the weed helped, economically.

    Let's see...

    Traffic
    Cost of housing
    Pollution
    Fires
    Weather

But, hey, I'm sure someone's giving up a $250k job in the Bay for a $40k job in Beaumont ALL because of politics.

People don't move because of politics. Another 'conservative' myth.

    AND...

They're just filling up the space occupied by old White people dying off. Won't be long before Texas is just as blue as California.

New York, Massachusetts, California, Oregon, Washington, Maryland, Delaware, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Illinois, Colorado and New Jersey are Deep Blue States and are great places to live. Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho, Oklahoma and Louisiana are deep red states which are cheap to live in for a reason....They are the shitholes....You couldn’t pay me enough to live in any of them. You got it backwards champ. It looks like Texas, Georgia, And Florida are also turning more blue all the time too. The GOP is going to hell in a hand bag.

I made the mistake of moving to Colorado Springs in 91. What a red shithole. Full of those religious nutbags and boring, cheap assed people. I could not wait to get back home to California. Denver, Boulder, Aspen, Durango and other more liberal cities have grown and turned Colorado blue again. Goof for them. However I am staying here for the duration. California will never turn into a Republican shithole again.

No, they give up the job because of the area... which is dictated by political decisions. Texas has no income tax. Do you think its always been like that, or it just happens to be like that?

Would the state have no income tax if Democrats ran it from top to bottom?

Of course it wouldn't. So they are moving for politics, yes?

More blue because of the mass exodus from other blue states.

Yes, that is the basis of the OP.

It's like a cancer and it wont stop until every major city is a **** hole.

**** up your state, then move. Look at the big three Blue states and survey how people like it there. They dont. 60% of people living in San Fran have thought if moving. Their most likely destination in their responses....

    Texas.

    But why?

Cause California ain't the paradise they thought it would be when they began voting in Democrats 30 years ago, so time to flee to a state that ISNT a shithole, a booming state with low taxes and plenty of jobs.

Then... once you get there, you vote for people like Beto who has never had a real job in his lifetime.

And then there is the big enchilada, California. For generations, the Golden State developed a reputation as the ultimate destination of choice for millions of Americans. No longer. Since 2000 the state has lost 1.75 million net domestic migrants, according to Census Bureau estimates. And even amid an economic recovery, the pattern of outmigration continued in 2014, with a loss of 57,900 people and an attraction ratio of 88.5, placing the Golden State 13th from the bottom, well behind longtime people exporters Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Louisiana. California was a net loser of domestic migrants in all age categories.

    Where’s The Money Going?

Some analysts have claimed that the people leaving California are mostly poor while the more affluent are still coming. The 2014 IRS data shows something quite different. To be sure the Golden State, with its deindustrializing economy and high costs, is losing many people making under $50,000 a year, but it is also losing people earning over $75,000, with the lowest attractiveness ratios among those making between $100,000 and $200,000 annually, slightly less than those with incomes of $10,000 to $25,000.

Gallery: The States Gaining And Losing The Most Migrants

Overall, many of the most affluent states are the ones hemorrhaging high-income earners the most rapidly. As in overall migration, New York sets the standard, with the highest outmigration of high income earners (defined as annual income over $200,000) relative to in-migrants (attraction ratio: 53). New York is followed closely by Illinois, the District of Columbia and New Jersey, which are all losing the over-$200,000-a-year crowd at a faster pace than California.

The big winners in terms of affluent migration tend to be historically poorer states, mainly in the Sun Belt and the Intermountain West. Florida has an attraction ratio for people earning over $200,000 a year of 223, the highest in the nation, followed by South Carolina, Montana, Idaho and North Carolina. Four of the states with the highest attraction rate among the highest income earners were in the top five in net in–migration of seniors, many of whom are taking nice nest eggs with them. South Carolina scored the highest, followed by Delaware, Idaho, North Carolina and Florida.

As you can see.. a lot of the movers are higher income people who are moving away from higher taxes they voted for so they can move somewhere else and vote for politicians who push higher taxes.

fake news, they turn over every thing in the morning and a recount will then begin with both sides being involved

isn't this the sate where the republican candidate has not recused himself from the process yet? where he took dems off the voter rolls to suppress the vote for things like hyphens in names?
