You understand incorrectly. They are only temporarily going along with Republicans, knowing that Biden will be president, and then we can get more. The only reason they are going along with it is Republicans won't budge.

"Not" because Biden won, and that makes zero sense.

Nancy Pelosi would not budge from 2.2 Trillion dollars. Had she been willing to compromise when Trump and Mitch offered over 1.8 trillion you would have your stimulus money right now.

To say Democrats are NOT part of the problem means you know little of what is actually going on.

I admit Mitch has at times been part of the problem but Nancy had her chances and every time she said she wanted more Trump went higher willing to compromise. Nancy publicly stated she felt a stimulus bill before the election would help Trump win. She wanted to wait.

The only reason she is ok with a smaller bill as she publicly admitted is because Biden is now the president. She held the stimulus money hostage to hurt Trump.

I should not have to repeat myself. Many of the stimulus update people on YouTube said everything I just said so it's not like I'm just making stuff up.

Trump said he would sign whatever came to his desk. He was never the problem. Nancy and her crazy 2.2 trillion package was the PROBLEM. What made her think Republicans would approve billions without saying what it was for?

A new stimulus deal is trying to be completed before the government shutdown starts after Sunday. You should seriously check out LA LATE. He is not a Republican and gives unbiased fair stimulus updates on YouTube. My wife watches 3 different people but there is Many of them.

Seems strange Mitch didn't pass something to put the pressure on Pelosi.
Could it be he couldn't pass anything without the Dems? :)

You were almost right. "Party before country" applies to both, equally.

I'm not a fan of Mitch. I think Republicans in Kentucky are afraid to run against him because he has power, money and has been around awhile. I wish someone else would run.
Mitch is 77 years old I think and will be in his 80's for his next election if he runs.

Mitch has continuously put fourth stimulus packages without money to the people and has recently pushed for smaller amounts of money around $600. I'm sure he has his reasons but I don't agree with him doing so and some Republicans are tired of him. Josh Hawley (R) is refusing to go less than $1,200. Bernie Sanders caved in and now says $600 is ok after saying he wanted no less than $1,200.

I wish Trump could do a executive order and just get stimulus money to the people and let Congress worry about the rest which is still important. I know we need the other stuff or the economy would tank. It's crazy that money to save the economy has taken months of discusion because of politics.

Biden put up a add saying that a stimulus package from him will be determined by whoever wins the Senate races in GA. I see this as a way to get more votes. I still think he will push for stimulus money.

To be clear Trump has never been the problem nor do I think Biden will be. Nancy and Mitch are the problems but I put most of the blame on Nancy for crying for 2.2 trillion and then refusing Trumps offer of 1.8 trillion

I think Nancy needs to go as much as Mitch. It's nice to see someone stand up and say it's time for new power in the Democratic party. AOC wants bigger stimulus checks which may be why she is fighting with Nancy and Chuck right now.

Nice to see you did not disagree about Nancy. Maybe both parties can compromise. We can get rid of Mitch if the Democrats can get rid of Nancy. Then everyone wins.

The Democrats had thier chance when Trump offered the 1.8 trillion deal. You can thank Nancy for not getting that deal.

You are right. We were told this by Nancy herself.

She publicly stated she did not want to pass stimulus to hurt Trumps chances of re-election.

Obviously you don't follow the stimulus updates on YouTube or you would know this. I also saw the video where she said it and recently stated she is willing to go smaller because we have a new president.

She f*cked everyone over. Pathetic to see anyone defend her.

Except Moscow Mitch wouldn't put it on paper and bring it to a vote, so who gives a damn what the loser 'offered'? You can thank Moscow Mitch for it.

Trump wanted the deal so if what you say is true then Mitch screwed Trump over too but that's not what I heard. I heard Nancy refused to accept the 1.8 trillion package. Again I am not a fan of Mitch.

And governments who operate on that principle cannot help but become increasingly tyrannous over time.

They had nothing to do with the sixteenth amendment. We did not have an income tax until 1916.

President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team on Friday decried Republicans’ efforts to shackle the Federal Reserve as Biden enters office.

Both sides in recent days have indicated they’re close to a deal on a stimulus bill aimed at buoying the U.S. economy as it weathers the COVID-19 storm.

But reports Thursday and Friday indicated Republicans wanted to rein in the Federal Reserve’s powers to help businesses and municipalities stay afloat, efforts it’s pursued for months through programs set up in the last COVID-19 stimulus bill, but which the Trump administration and congressional Republicans have sought to cut off as Trump leaves office.

As others have said Ron Johnson, a Republican is saying the first stimulus package was a mistake and will not support another one because it will cost to much money.

Pathetic. These people who don't care about AMERICA need to be kicked out of office.

He voted for the first package so why now does he have a problem? He is probably doing it to hurt Biden just like Nancy did it to hurt Trump.

Johnson supported the first stimulus bill because his Dear Leader was in the WH. Back then, stimulating the economy for the better of the country and for the political benefit of Trump was a great idea. Now.........not so much as a Dem stands ready to take over the country.

He is doing the exact same thing Nancy did. Both parties do the same BS and America suffers for it.

The founding fathers granted the government the right to amend the constitution.

Take it up with the founding fathers.
