True, but unfortunately, doctors have a tremendous amount of influence and use it to enjoy profit. Big pharma wields tremendous amount of political power, so putting kids on meds to prepare them for cosmetic surgery amounts to government co parenting.

 

You are far from correct. The child does not have the ability to decide. This is being imposed on them under the guise of repairing a defect. Doctors have a tremendous amount of influence and profit from persuading parents to buy their service. A doctor once told me that my son would likely end up in prison if I did not medicate him to treat ADHD. The majority of parents would take the doctors advice.

I don't decide for every family. If a family wants to turn their children over to government care, there are many blue states that will accomodate them. As far as my family....we are a large extended family. We are descended from my 5x great grandfather who coined the phrase "Live Free or Die". That does not entail turning our children over to government control. If they ever evolve into trying that by force......we have a motto to live by. You can live that way.....they do it in China! Your choice!

Here again, education is a choice word that leftists love to use in a way of feeling "superior' to others. The word has a different meaning to them. It entails "indoctrination".

I can't agree to that. The majority of parents cannot afford to do better than the school assigned to them by their address. I hope they will have a choice one day.

Well Doof, In Arizona we do have a choice. My Grandson gets his appointed tax dollars applied to Christian School. Many give to scholarships as well. Voters do have a choice. Until the teachers Union is broken there are no options in Public School.

That motto came from our forefathers who fought FOR government, not against it.

They fought FOR democracy - representation by the people (rather than by the English government in which we had no representation).

Democracy includes that your candidates and ideas CAN lose, and responding to that with violence is an assault on democracy itself.

That includes the assault on our government on Jan 6 (and the support for that assault that has continued ever since) which was a promotion of autocracy - of refutation of everything our form of government stands for.

Obviously, you can promote autocracy, anarchy, or whatever. But, doing so with violence must be addressed with immediate action. Also, you can't really be an American and actively oppose our form of government, can you? It doesn't make sense to me.

Our government simply does not have the right to use our tax dollars to teach your religion.

More kids are turning republican because, as seen above, the left doesn't live in the same reality. Most people just don't want the left-wokists to confuse their kids and damage them with woke culture. The culture of Liberalism has been uprooted by wokism and the culture of liberalism having been uprooted has found home in the republican party.
