If your main concern is the environment, Democrats are the only viable party to vote for right now. I remember when Republicans used to care, but those days are gone.

I think that most of what comes out of right wing media is mostly propaganda and leads people to believe things that aren’t true. I also think that most Republican politicians earn their country bumpkin reputations. I think that 90% of the complaints conservatives make of liberals and Democrats is mostly made up male bovine excrement.

Well good for you. It seems your Democratic friends would rather pay less and have the Chinese build their roads, bridges and rail system. Then complain their are no good jobs

The irony of it all is that it was Nixon embracing environmentalism that caused arch conservatives to found and fund the Heritage Foundation, one of the greatest sources of right wing disinformation.

Moronic statement considering many Union members vote for Democrats - you know, the Union jobs that used to get much higher pay until the Republicans gutted them.

For disinformation you have to look no farther than CNN and MSNBC. This is how much Liberals know what's really going on.

That was mainly because of the heat and lack of air conditioning. Most of your factories are now building in the South. The North is being called the Rust Belt.

It's a moronic statement to claim that a handful of people represent EITHER party - unless I can equally claim that Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Tim Cook, etc. represent the totality of liberals.

The Decline of Unions, Part One: President Jimmy Carter ...
    https://www.redstate.com/laborunionreport/2011/01/13/the-decline-of-unions-part-one...
Jan 13, 2011 · He was a Jimmy Carter appointee. Myths Vs. Facts. Despite the myth that Reagan is the one that devastated private-sector unions, no amount of so-called “union-busting” that Reagan allegedly did matches the amount of devastation that President Jimmy Carter did to unions by crushing their monopolies in the Air, Rail Telephone and Trucking ...

DEMOCRATS crushed federal worker's rights to collectively ...
    https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/democrats-crushed-federal-workers-rights-to...
Feb 26, 2011 · Its not BUT BUT BUT anything. Carter and the Democrats were 100% responsible for ELIMINATING the rights of Federal workers to collectively bargain. Wisconsin is simply trying to model itself after the example given by Jimmy Carter and the Democrat congress. Barack Obama has done NOTHING to change this law so I can only assume he agrees with it.

Another irony is that many union members are voting Republican because they see that leftists have disowned the middle class.

Oh yes, the ones that never let conservatives speak at them. They only want to hear one point of view. I have heard many people have good educations, but many also lack plain old common sense.

I don't have any friends based upon their political affiliations..Nor have you proven who built anything in NW Ark...NW Ark and all of Missouri that I operate within is a majority Republican operation and has been since I moved to the are in 1986 after departing the army. So try to complain about those phantoms in yer head some more until it finally makes sense...

The majority of unions are public unions such as cops and firemen who have voted Republican for many years, the unions with actual workers is down to less than 7% and you have yet to show proof how they vote.

    Easy.
    • The Democratic Party's policies provide aid in many forms to the needy, empathy is a basic part of the Democratic Party members character.
    • This practice is not limited to "illegals", that is a pejorative used by the GOP and exploited by their Callous Conservative minority.
    • There is no campaign to promote illegal immigration, that's one of the BIG LIES used by the GOP's practice of echoing BIG LIES; used as one more of the wedge issues (guns, gays and God) to win the votes of those receptive to such propaganda.
    • You may see Socialism, but that is because you have been mislead by the propaganda of those who benefit from the Golden Goose (A debate on the economy and these false claims is worthy of an entire tread) Suffice it for now to state that the use of the term is nothing more than a pejorative when used in the manner of your comment.
I vote for Democrats, up and down the slate, who support humanity before profit. Not that making a profit is bad, but ignoring basic needs such as life, liberty, happiness, which require equal opportunities and equal rights for all is bad. We, as Democrats, understand that consumers move our currency around and have the greatest impact on the markets and the success of our economy.

Liberals populate both parties since it is a political philosophy and is not a political party.

Evidently you lack from trades and skills that would earn yous more. I was earning more in the early nineties than you did in the era of 2010.

What defines a democrat is narrowing all the time as the party concentrates itself around the left pole. From their position around the left pole, any differences, in any direction, are differences to the right. Everything is to the right of the left pole. The farthest one can even see from the left pole is somewhere in the middle. From the left pole, the middle looks like the far right.

Those at the left pole define themselves by what they are not. They are ever more and more narrowly self-defined as not everything else. Anything, even God, is defined just as much by what it is not as it is by what it is, but those at the polar left define themselves strictly by what they are not. Therefore, as they refine themselves, they find themselves occupying an ever smaller and smaller footprint around the polar left.

As those around the left pole close ranks like a bunch of 8th grade mean girls, they resort to name calling, emotional outbursts and conspicuous exclusionary behavior. Meanwhile, millions of voters find themselves on the new right quite by default. They didn't change positions, the line between left and right changed.

Turning Point USA, #blexit and #walkaway have no analogs in the other political direction. No one is going the other way.
What defines a democrat is narrowing all the time.
