Why would anyone vote for a Democrat?

Probably because of the system of bidding jobs and awarding jobs to the lowest bidder.

 

Or maybe because the Biden's don't have anybody working in the road/bridge building business.

 

Then they need to stop complaining of the poor paying jobs . You can't have it both ways.

Just a few years ago, every Democratic leader in your Party was condemning illegals. Even Obama. He said illegals take jobs away from our blue collar workers, hold down raises and put a strain on our welfare system. Even Hillary said we need a barrier to help control our border. But today if we talk that way we are a racist. We hate Brown people. We want open borders and we even protect illegal criminals. Make me understand that.

 

Yes it is a problem. One of the problems is making bad trade agreements where we allow these countries to pay poverty wages, no environmental laws, no benefits, no regulations. How do we compete with that? When we allow millions of illegals in it holds down wages and increase the cost of living.

 

That has nothing to do with skyrocketing home costs.

 

I was a Democrat from Kennedy all the way through Carter. He made me change. I was an Independent when Perot ran. I didn't believe in NAFTA. I voted Democrat again in Clinton's second term. But I swear, this Democratic Part is nothing like it use to be. Their thinking has done a complete turn around in what we all believed just a few years ago. I really don't understand the Democrats today. I am ashamed of how they think. I have been a union man my whole working life. My Brother was three time union President of our local, 1433 out of Phoenix. Not one of us six kids are Democrats today.

 

Sure it does, we probably have close to 20 million illegals here than 12 million. We have been saying 11 million all the way back to Clinton. Where do you think this people are living? I have a Hispanic living right next door to me and another one next door to him. I don't know if they are illegal or not.

 

So you have no idea of what you are saying since Trump has taken care of that problem by spending billions upon a wall yet zero time making E-Verify a requirement for companies to hire people to find out...WHich means Trump is not solving the issue, housing is high and the illegals are not the ones buying it since they can't get loans for mortgages from being in the nation illegally.

 

I listen to these Democrats calling us racist now. I hear them say they'd like to kill all Trump followers. I haven't changed. I don't hate anyone, except these Muslims that come here and trying and change America . My Grand Daughter is married to a Hispanic, my Sister's Daughter is married to a Black. Both a nice guys. But the Democrats have done a complete about face and I don't understand that. Biden says he wants to bring in one or two million more illegals. This on top of the one million we bring in legally every year. What changed? How come before they took our jobs, held down wages and put a strain on our welfare system and today we can't get enough in? Explain it to me.

 

Listen, Arizona passed a law that punishes companies who knowingly hire illegals and doesn't use E-Verify. Obama sued us. It went all the way to the USSC and Arizona won. But every Liberal on that court that voted, voted against Arizona.

Probably for the same reason people will vote republican; the party represents what they believe to be their best interests. That's a no brainer.

 

Did you have issues when other immigrants came to this country and changed things to their beliefs? The Muslim's are no different then any other group of immigrants who've come to this country and tried to retain some of their culture and beliefs.

There are flaws to your thinking; Biden happens to be under fire for working to deport over 3 million people when he was president; not much has changed since then. Show me in the law where the government has to guarantee you a job in this country; if unscrupulous business owners would refuse to hire any undocumented aliens there might be more jobs for Americans, but they want to get off on the cheap so they go the route of hiring illegals. If there were no jobs for them, the numbers of illegals entering the country would be sharply reduced but until "American" business owners stop hiring them, little can be done.

 

I believe that some do, but I really believe we have married our Party now. I have heard people say I have been a Democrat/Republican my whole life and will never vote for anything else. The two Parties know that and they know they can do just about anything they want and their flock will follow like sheep? How is protecting illegal criminals helping anyone except them and their family? I have yet to hear one Democrat condemn it.

 

Other immigrants came here and kept their customs. They never come out and say we want to get rid of your way of life and laws and change it to ours. They won't come flat out and tell you we want to live here, but we don't want to associate with you. Muslims make no bones on how they feel. At least Middle Eastern Muslims don't.

 

I listen to Democrats stick up for Muslims and condemn Christians. But many of these Middle Eastern Muslims treat women worse than their animals and hang or throw gays off of roof tops. Now I don't know but you can take treating everyone equal a little to far when they believe the opposite than you do. When they want to take your rights away from you.

 

The Republicans put a criminal thug in office.

 

Don't ask me, I'm proud to say that I've been a life-long independent and have no allegiance to any political party. But don't worry, I'm sure you'll get a response at some point if you haven't already.

 

First off, lets clarify something; Muslims are a religious group, they may be from any country outside the United States. That being said many cultural and religious groups in this country like living with those who have similar cultural and religious belief's in common. NY City is an excellent example where you have areas of Middle eastern, Italian, Irish, Hispanic, Caribbean, European, Asian, etc in addition to religious groups such as the Hasidic Jews, Indian Hindus, etc. Not everyone may not want to associate with other Americans but most of them have no issue since they came here for a better life and many want to assimilate our culture and lifestyles and they most certainly don't want to change the country to their way of life unless your basing your assertion on the viewpoints of a few.

On the contrary- Bernie Sanders has been a sort of parasite, promoting the idea that because someone else has something, others should take it from them in the name of- fairness. Justice. Equality. However, Bernie always thought that his mouth was adequate contribution to society to justify him not having to work. He was part of a hippie commune at one time, and kicked out because he wouldn't do his share. Bernie is a Tick, and trying to get others to become ticks to legitimize that kind of thinking and glorify himself. He tries to buy the minds of some with promises of things he would steal from others. The idea of paying your own way, standing on your own feet...... is totally foreign to his way of thinking.

The founding fathers would hardly endorse Bernie for anything. Ticks have never been admirable except to other ticks.
