    Republicans are more centrist to the left what with their support of free public schools, libraries, police, firemen public parks, public golf etc. This crap about the Democrats being "leftist" because they want more of what we have as far as free schools is a joke.

    That's awesome! Are you claiming that public sector union members don't "actually work"?

    Of the private sector unions, there was a movement to the right based on results from 2016. I also see it in my workplace. As for proof, I suppose one could google and see what the trends have been.

    They are public sector unions while others are listed as worker/labor unions. I am sure the public unions work in between donuts and mastubatory moments.

    Yeah but when you're making 70k a year and you get a 3% increase...

    Obviously the few and far between people working min wage arent going to benefit even if everyone's salary was doubled because they provide little value.

    Duh.

    Also, that's 3% a year. 3% a year for 3 years is quite a raise.

    My wife works for the feds and there are times they go to work and work forty hours a week and do nothing.
    Trump covers the weather forecasts with his Sharpie so he wants to get rid of the weather service.

    People need to realize when Free Trade hit us hard in the late nineties and up, that held down wages. Companies have to compete and it's hard to do if your competing against a foreign company, especially in Asia.

    I made four times more money in the late 90's than in the early 90's. Probably because I was self employed from '94 on. I stopped working for corporations who skimmed the cream off the top.

    I don't seem to see may Democrats happy today. Many seem angry and offended over the least little thing. It seems your more interested in providing aid to illegals than you are your own countrymen. Case in point.

    If money is the only measure of happiness no wonder there is so much suicide when they lose their dough. I myself prefer weed and growing my own food.

    No, I'm saddened that we put people that shouldn't even be here ahead of our own. I was taught you have to help your own before helping others. Why would you help provide a higher education to people that shouldn't be here and deny the same to the children who gave their life for this country. That doesn't make a lick of sense to me.
