Will Republicans Ever Reclaim Orange County?

1) I'm not a Republican

2) I am a small business owner, and I intentionally do not transact in California.

3) As is always the case with leftists, you make a mess of things, blame others, and then expect them to clean it up and pay for it.

 

Things started looking ominous for Orange county Republicans well over 20 years ago when 'B-1" Bob Dornan lost his congressional seat to a Latina Democrat. Loretta Sanchez was also a former Republican. Now there is not one Republican congressman/ woman in the entire county.

 

Since CA changed the law how elections are determined there is only one party rule in many parts of CA since no republicans will be on the ballot.

 

Republicans can not compete in a county larger than many states. Pitiful

 

Especially when CA insures they will not be on the ballot so republicans have no one to vote for. That is how democrats disenfranchise voters.

 

You can intentionally lie about something you have no knowledge of. Trump claimed millions of illegal voters was why he lost California to Hillary. Republicans are fools, plain and simple. Pitiful x 2

It's embarrassing. At one time on this forum, I could actually debate people of the left about actual issues. Instead there is only Trump hysteria and uncivil name calling.

 

Sadly, that's what they've degenerated into.

The left can't win any debate with facts - so they don't even try.

At least in decades past they'd try to argue issues, but they've simply dispensed with civility and gone all-in on Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The notion/ image of a "waste bin" per governor Newsom has to be demoralizing to Republicans. Discarded garbage is what we throw into the "waste bin", things that we don't want anymore. Powerful language. I live in metro Los Angeles in a community of many immigrants with strong accents/ cultural identity. There are the usual Latinos/ Asians of every stripe like one sees everywhere in California. But the immigrants with the largest ethnic majority here are Armenian and most are from Iran/ Syria/ Iraq. Christians mostly, who fled the horrors of war/ extreme Muslim ideology/ persecution. And like their neighbors, they vote Democratic overwhelmingly because jingoistic/ racist-prone Republicans scare them. This is Adam Schiff's district where he has never lost an election in some 20 years, a congressional district larger than many states. Republicans lose election after election not because of voting fraud. They are rejected because of what kind of people they are, the kind of people who would elect someone like Trump. Goodbye/ good riddance GOP, sadly you are not welcomed in California anymore.

Voting habits are racist. The Democratic Party cares about that very much.

They didn't want to let Vietnamese people in when they didn't think it would get them any votes.

Interesting that you live in the "Pacific Northwest" [per you personal info] yet refer to the Democrats in California. Last time I noticed both Oregon and Washington refuse to elect Republicans except in the most remote/ hillbilly rural regions. Do you ride around with your MAGA cap on your pointy head or like most Republicans just flume in rage in the safety of your own bedroom?

Democrats rule the entire West Coast except Alaska, a huge state with less people than Seattle or Portland. Why is it that Republicans live in the outback rather than where most people live? Maybe 'Lil Mike' will share his wisdom.
