Political decisions about how to regulate businesses, which is really about all that government can and should do in regard to them, should not be terribly difficult to make or implement fairly. Businesses should not mulct or swindle their customers, they should not poison the populace and they should not engage in unfair practices which have been forbidden because they victimise the public. Too many businesspeople seem to think that "good business" requires exceptions to this simple precept, and that this idea, that you should operate your enterprise honestly, is an unnecessary burden

And one of the chief offenders there is Donald Trump. One of his more well-known business "innovations" is the practise of keeping lawyers on staff. Most larger firms do this but few use them more consistently to cheat subcontractors out of their honest due than has Trump and this is well-known. One of the main reasons his casinos went bankrupt was because subcontractors would no longer maintain them since he was known to routinely litigate payment for long periods whether there was reason or not.

ok first things first judges like in places like Wisconsin said restrictive voter ID laws were unconstitutional and a form of voter suppression. I have sat in line for four hrs to vote because they have 8 voting machines but only two work, that is voter suppression. Those are just a few current cases of voter suppression. The dnc did it by creating misinformation and given the platform completey to one person. Your point of voter fraud has been defrocked by many judges and that’s why with the house, the senate, the White House, and the Supreme Court nothing has been done. They choose to just give tax cuts to the rich. So the same people who neglected their own made up duty to protect from voter fraud are the ones you believe and not Actual data. They are distracting you from the fact that they are engaged in fraud with voter suppression and this fake outrage over voter fraud.

For a couple of reasons.

1. The most obvious being that a structural engineer, or task force of engineers are best suited to that task.

2. You dont have any idea of the conditions that over a period of time contribute to the diminished servicen life of bridge components. You dont have the experience or eductation to know what needs to be checked per the regulations you want to develop. Etc. Etc.

A resounding, yes. You shouldn't be the one driving those regulations.
