Who is this "whistleblower"? Do you have a name? Is there some reason you're calling this person a whistleblower rather than simply somebody alleging something?

From what I gather, it's just an anonymous nobody claiming something with no evidence, so why take it seriously?

That I don't know. I would hope that would be shown soon. What I'd like to know was the whistle blower in the room with Trump, or was authorities tapping the President's phone? If in the room, how do we know he is telling the whole truth? If tapping his phone, why?

Because the person evidently went to the IG of the DNI's organization. The IG, appointed by Trump, did sufficient investigation to reach a conclusion that there was something to the whistleblower's concern and classified the information as critical and urgent. A separate report says that the whistleblower's report and IG conclusion relates to a Trump conversation with the new President of Ukraine. Trump acknowledges the conversation, but we do not know whether the conversation is related to the whistleblower's report or not. Normal procedure, backed by law, would allow the IG and the whistleblower to go to Congress, but the Trump administration appears to be blocking this. Question is why and what's in the report?

It's called the executive privilege. He is within his rights. Not big deal at all. A standard procedure.

A crime? That's a rather silly accusation based on nothing but wishful thinking. It's more like, the conversation between two head of states is meant to be private and confidential not broadcasted to the world.Simples.

Absolutely not. There is no "Executive privilege" in the whistle blower law....especially not so when the Executive is the subject of the whistle blower complaint

And this was NOT (strictly speaking) "collusion" with a foreign power....it was EXTORTION that was resisted by that foreign power

Sorry you misunderstood the point is that the huge growth in the size and power of the federal government post 1932 did not improve much of anything and has in made a hell of a lot of things worse.

What "Biden did" was get a corrupt prosecutor removed...not for his own personal gain but to PREVENT further corruption.
And no his son nor his son's company was not under investigation. Shokin (the prosecutor) admitted that

    Just saying "wrong" means nothing.

Do you want quotes of Shokin admitting there was no ongoing investigation?

    That of his deputy?

Perhaps because the fellow is not a whistleblower. He did not actually hear the conversation and gained knowledge of it outside of his work.

He is not a whistleblower, but a rumor monger.

Ambassadorships and consuls to safe but non-critical posts were the archetype, but I don't know how much that is nowadays. I've often thought how much that must be a fun life. Largely going to parties being your "job"

I cite non-criminal law and I cite criminal law. Since it has been demonstrated that this criminal President has violated both I cite whatever is appropriate to the debate on hand. And you try to exonerate a criminal by obfuscating the discussion.

I quote legislation, you take words out of context. I clarify, you obfuscate. When analyzing a debate you can be sure that the person who clarifies is usually the one who knows what they're talking about.

I don't believe in politics. All of this is about the hatred of one man. I don't think the constitution covers that.
