I would have no problem allowing the types of guns available to those in 1791, when the second amendment was enacted, being available to all legal gun owners.

 

That's just silly, as -some- of us are willing and able to have a rational, reasoned discussion of the subject, any time, any where.

What do you think the odds are of this being another case of some negligence Texas assclown failing to properly report someone to the federal government? Look at any Texas mass shooting in the last 20 years, and you will most likely find that the shooter has a criminal or mental health history that wasn't reported, and didn't come up in background checks.

How about we make it a felony to report such things.. Throw people in prison for 5 years if they don't do their ****ing jobs.

An AR-15 isn't any more dangerous than any other semi-auto rifle on it's own. It's the attachments and accessories made for it that make it more dangerous. They ban the gun, but leave the accessories largely unregulated. Those accessories can be used on a large number of guns and not just the AR-15.
