The article didn't say that Christian channels were banned, only that they have a new policy of banning advertisers targeting users on the basis of religion. So why are you calling it fake news? Seems to be a comprehension problem here - unless your intent is to denigrate the thread and mislead the viewers by calling it 'fake news'.

No one is saying who and what people should donate to! Which bit don't you understand?
Donate to me and you'll go to heaven, don't donate to me and you'll go to hell, is that what you support?

 

People do not donate to a faith based organization because they are afraid of hell, so stop with your skewed interpretations of something you know nothing about.

Christian is mentioned to let donors know that the therapy of the vets will be based on faith and not on the drug infused psychiatric care which has given the vets a suicide rate that averages about 3 a day.

Besides it wouldn't be fair not to let the athiests, Christianphobes, pagans, etc., what the treatment of the vets will be based on - which might actually be the intent of the new rules on YouTube so that the organization could be subject to libel. Then again I have a suspicious nature.

 

It does once its passed into law. If you treat one legal marriage differently than another, you do so out of bigotry.

Wrong. The law doesn't determine bigotry. It determines what is legal vs illegal.

Besides gay marriage as a legal issue was brought about to cause this exact problem.
Gay couples could have became domestic partners and had all the legal benefits of marriage.
This is just like medical marijuana it was nothing more than a foot in the door for full legalization.
The gay lobby won't stop persecuting Christians until Christians churches are forced to accept being gay as morally equivalent to being straight.

If you are a regular YT poster, you know that people get "Recommended Channels" which is a form of advertising. And I get Christian channels recommended all the time.

 

He said it's a new policy because he has posted hundreds of ads, and this is the first time it was turned down. He then tried the same ad with the word Muslim and it wasn't turned down, otherwise I would have thought it was a precautionary measure for terrorism and since they couldn't specify one faith, they made it for all faiths.

Having policies on bidding keywords has nothing to do with Nazi Germany. You either badly overestimate the role of keywords or you badly underestimate the Nazis. Or both. Likely both.

 

YouTube does not allow advertisers to target users on the basis of religion to protect their privacy. But advertising that includes religious terms like “Christian” is still allowed. Robichaux’s claim that the word “Muslim” was accepted as a keyword to target Muslims is bogus. It's a new policy enforced after Russiagate.

 

While I have gotten many Christian channel recommendations, never once have I gotten a Muslim channel recommendation.
