    No, O'Mara is basically giving a lecture now about the standard of judgment used in everyday life (snap decisions, emotional decisions) versus the standard of judgment used in trials (evidence, reasonable doubt).

    No juror is under any obligation whatsoever to justify their decision. And certainly they are under no obligation to justify their decision to the press or the mob glued to the TV.

    O'Mara just brought up the fact that ALL the people caught doing burglaries in the neighborhood were young black males. He stated he will lecture about race in a moment. Watch the media go nuts over this.

    He is driving home the reasonable doubt, but he is also demonstrating the absurdity that the case was ever charged in the first place. There was no evidence, only assuptions and bias on the prosecution's part!

    Not even close. He was neighborhood watching, as Omara said, and while he was watching Martin, Martin attacked and assaulted him.
    Neighborhood watching is legal and actually beneficial to those who aren't criminals or wanna be criminals.
