Sharia doesn't have one definition. Remember that Sharia law is available in many courts in the US.

And, the people's definition of Sharia may well be preferable to the systems used in many countries, especially where dictators "disappear" people, etc.

 

In a free country, Sharia creeps into the court system in domestic problems.

They need a voter block, to open it into more.

when they have the population for a voter block, you also have police, and judges who are muslim.
A city, or enclave can bypass American laws.

Remember, everything Muhammed did is OK, in a Muslim environment.

No, everything Muhammed did is not OK as an act to be done today. Many of his acts took place in the context of war. Remember that the USA takes action in war that is NOT OK on our streets today.

As with the US in war, Muslims don't see what Muhammad did in war as being OK outside the context of war. Beyond that, both Christians and Muslims have advanced beyond the specific actions and some of the beliefs of those ancient times.

I'm not saying everything is perfect or equal, but blaming Islam for everything that goes wrong in the ME and elsewhere is something that WE can not allow to happen.

The problem with that kind of behavior is that it dodges the real problems that exist - problems such as horrible dictators, hunger, displacement of peoples, lack of representation in the ruling government (such as Palestinians having no representation in Israeli Military law under which much of Palestine is ruled or in cases where democracy really doesn't exist), etc.

Besides, if it really is Islam, then we're not going to succeed, because there is NO chance that we are going to win a religious war against 2 billion people.

We need to cool our jets and consider how we can contribute.

 

They are also not allowed to defend their own private property, their water rights, their orchards, or anything else they have that some Israeli wants to take from them.

How would YOU feel if a foreign power had the right to take YOUR property, imposed THEIR court system on you and didn't let you vote about it?
