They do the actual holding by not dispersing it although the aid in question here was weapons not money. What is your point?

Again no one has testified to a quid pro quo, no one has testified to any extortion, there has been LOTS of testimony as to the corruption in Ukraine, there has been LOTS of testimony about the need to deal with that corruption,Trump's, just as when he ran, opposition to lots of the foreign aid on which we spend taxpayer dollars, testimony as to the internal deliberations and discussions about how to get the Ukraines to step up to the plate and ensure they indeed started investigations into corruption and "did the right thing". And in the end the aid was released and the Ukraines did not start any investigations, let's hope they do now, did not feel threatened and everyone knew the aid would eventually be released. ALL within the purview of the President of the United States and in fact his DUTY to mitigate such concerns. That a person who might be involved was the son of the Vice-President OH WELL, that does not give him permission to engage in corrupt activities and then have immunity from investigation into that specific alleged corruption and how the Ukraine oligarchs worked their corruption into our government. That his father who may have been involved at least to the extent of aquising to it is also running for President OH WELL, since when did that grant immunity from investigation and go ask Trump about such investigations>
