    But you're not watching him on TV doing it. He's doing it at his own private residence. The purpose of watching football is to enjoy the game. Not get someone else's views shoved in your face while trying to do it. That's the difference.

    I don't know if it's really a race thing -- I have non-white friends who are as disgusted as the rest of us with this behavior. I believe most sane people are tired of angry, spoiled, entitled, unpatriotic, attention-whore "protesters" in general.

    I'm not watching the National Anthem on TV either.

    Geez. I'm reloading my cup, opening a bag of chips, or making some nachos.

    So you know, I'm also not watching the commercials. Or the chick based sideline reports.

    So all of your whining and crying is over something 90% of the public has no interest in seeing.

    2% off the public crying over something 90% of the public has no interest in.

    I'll say this - it is probably better to let anything and everything become politicized, because it is better to get this ridiculous ideological divide out in the open and settled one way or another than to let it continue to fester as it has been doing, leading to the kind of crap we saw last election and its results.     I would stand if I was there. But I didn't pay my hard earned cash to watch people stand, sit, kneel, buy beer, piss, poop during the national anthem. I paid to watch a sporting event.
