"Maybe we'll find out, if Trump doesn't fire the FBI and the Justice Department." Oh, I wish he would. Republicans in Congress would have to step up then. Right now, they are just like sheep, particularly a handful in the House led by Devin Nunes and the Freedom Caucus. Trump could empty his gun into Mother Theresa and that crowd would hand him bullets so he could reload.

Unfortunately, Trump doesn't have the balls to carry out his threats. He is all talk.

Why does the alt-left want war with Russia?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

In a word, NO I don't want Russia readmitted. See how easy that was? Trump does though because Putin has Trump under his thumb. Why? I believe we will soon learn. War with Russia? :roflol:

Trump's statement was nothing but lies and BS. Trump's base will buy it, but the big boys and girls in the G-7 won't.

Given that Mother Theresa died years ago that wouldn't be much of a crime.

Trump is alleging that the Mueller investigation is biased against him, and that the Justice Department cannot be trusted unless it stops the investigation against him and issues indictments and subsequent convictions against ALL who accuse him or who he accuses. . . . I am amazed at how many follow this logic.

As far as firing the FBI and the Justice Department goes, if Trump can pardon himself, who knows what other superpowers he possesses???

Trump is Russia's worst nightmare. After decades of effort they finally get a Russian asset all the way into the Presidency.

    And it's Trump!

You are extremely uninformed. There was a strong response. The strongest sanctions that Russia has ever seen. So strong that they sent a representative to collude with Trump Jr in Trump Tower. They would dig up dirt on Hillary, and Trump Jr. would convince his dad to ease up on some of the sanctions.

As a matter of fact, one of the sanctions was kicking Russia out of the G-8. Now that Trump is demanding that this sanction be removed, are you complaining also? I mean, this is the "quo" in the "quid pro quo". Or is it fine now because the guy in the White House is your boy!

Let's hear it! How is this you wrote not pure hypocrisy? Or maybe fanaticism... I don't know... you tell me.

I don't call kicking the Russians out of an economic cooperation organization they never should've been part of in the first place to be a "strong response". It is mainly semantics.

Rest of your post is the usual BS. And if you didn't know that I never voted for Trump and support him in no small part due to you and Sandy Shanks ilk, then you haven't been paying attention.

Might help if Trump and the trumpettes, recalled the 21st century history of russian aggression:

Seems like trump is dismissing all of this. In fact his rhetoric seems to be abetting the perceived strategic goals of Putin.

But that is merely coincidence and Lyin' King Don's art of the deal, in trumpland. Anything else is merely circumstantial and be summarily dimissed. sad.

Would you be willing then to support greatly increasing U.S. military spending (and size of our available forces) to counter the growing Russian threat?

    Thought not.

Interesting. Now you seem to be speaking for Putin. Please show me where he says he is pleased.

Bypassing that nonsense, why should the US continue to accept the actions of other countries, countries that even the WTO have ruled against, and they ignore?

How would you get Nations who are currently enjoying an advantage over the US and it's workers back to the table?

ACtually no I do not support such a simplistic "solution". I do support a restructuring of US military deployments and development of more effective combat capabilities. Simply more soliders and toys to continue within traditional war fighting arena is akin to increasing the size of the cavalry to fight in WWII. What used to be the way of war in the past ain't gonna be the way of war in the future.

Perhaps you can explain why you think expanding the forces "size" and throwing even more money at it, is strategically and tactically the best approach?

so you didn't read even what I posted from the article. typical.

    I guess you missed this"

First, there are limits on the President’s power, even on foreign policy. Second, incoherence from the White House makes it easier for Congress and the Pentagon to push for the foreign policy they support.
