    It was an attempt by Mel to bypass theaters and do a VOR release...Which meant it went straight to DVD and video on demand for streaming..

    EXCLUSIVE: The acquisitions market at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival was all about deals that combined small theatrical releases with major day-and-date VOD and DVD. But no major star has dared to bypass theaters to gamble on ancillary distribution with a project that is right in his wheelhouse. Until now. Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions has made an innovative deal with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment for a domestic direct-to-consumer release of Get The Gringo, a south-of-the-border gritty action film that Gibson stars in and financed.

    In my area it's drunk country fellows that like to shoot each other for fun, and sometimes profit..Then the campers and canoe idiots visit us for three months of drunken brawling and trash donations..

    I can't speak for "tearful and destructive leftists" but I'm pretty sure Tim Allen should have other fears higher on his priorities. Like why did I agree to star in Wild Hogs for example.

    Tim Allen committed a speak crime. Only Progressive bigots themselves can equate their own state as supervictims---as being victims of Nazis. Nazis usually being anyone that supports Trump or Nationalism.

    I do think about 80% of Hollywood Producers, studio heads, writers and directors are Jewish---so best not say anything to offend them.

    "'30s Germany" is all I've been hearing about for the past two years, on cable TV, newspapers....everywhere (this forum is no exception) and this is what they're suddenly offended by?

    You people are right, Hollywood is nothing like 1930’s Germany.

    Hollywood, however, is like decadent Rome. It is filled with pleasure and debauchery and love of self. And it is full of stench. And it will collapse upon itself one day in great terror. Not as an entity, but one by one when they come upon the judgment.

    (That is not to say those who are Christian or conservative are out of the woods. By no means.)
