See? Almost 100%.....under an abortion ban, you'd want police to have a "search warrent for a uterus."

You say it in a cowardly, slightly round-about way....but you're still saying it, as much as you try to pretend you're not.

BTW, I AM giving you what you want in my hypothetical....I find it the best way to expose "pro-lifers" for what they are. Either-

    1. People who don't REALLY think abortion is "murder"...since they don't want it treated like murder if it were illegal. i.e. executing women who self-induce.

    2. Misogynists who dream dreams of controlling women, using whatever expansive powers could be granted to law enforcement.

Yeah, you want to terminate pregnancies (killing the baby) and dare label me as cowardly. LOL

Well, I'm neither of those things.

Yes, because you keep failing to answer a direct question, which everybody (including yourself) knows the direct answer to...

Under an abortion ban, you would support "search warrents for the uterus"?

The answer is clearly "Yes"...but you won't say that directly because you are too cowardly and afraid of "appearing" misogynistic (btw...too late. :) ).

So you keep using weasel language like "I support police search warrents" but not directly answering the question.

You even admitted it...you don't want to be "painted into a corner". Why not? What are you AFRAID of???

And I directly answered your question. My answers don't need to reflect your wants.

My beliefs have nothing to do with misogyny. Now you're just getting pathetic with your attempt to label me something I'm clearly not.

Apparently you're not aware of logical fallacies.

    Try another one....

if abortion were illegal nation-wide in the US....and it was discovered that women were crossing the border into Canada, Mexico, or flying overseas to have abortions....

    would you want them stopped?

((BTW, we both know the "trap"...but let's see if you can answer it without either contradicting your view of "murder" and "crime" on abortion....or confirming what I said.))

Let's hold off on that. I think we know the answer. "Guilty until proven innocent"

But how far would the "pro-lifers" go to stop women from "escaping the country to kill their babies in foreign countries"???

Only two options for them....neither is good for their reputation or "beliefs."

I agree but I still wish one had the guts to answer that simple question....after all that's how most crimes are reported and the Anti-Choicers think they have all the answers but just cannot tell how all their dreams will come true( executing women for having abortions) if they can't describe how and why they'd suspect a woman of having an abortion.. or what they would say to the police ....as they gleefully turned in their mother or wife or sister or daughter to the police...

You really are a disgusting "human".

LOL Yes, yes, because you read about it here and you want it to support your disgusting opinion, it must be right. Pardon me as I laugh.

So unborn babies are not innocent?

Your entire opinion and viewpoint is.

You've been on this site for over a year now. I've been here for 7. I'm new to this thread, but I've dealt with this ugliness for some time.

Replace responsibility with restriction and it's the same thing.

Murder is the deliberate killing of a person. A person is defined as a human being. A fetus is a human being or animal in the later stages of development before it is born.

The result of pregnancy is a baby and the fact that you're trying to justify killing babies shows how little regard you have for human life. It's funny how you liberals will kill an innocent baby, but defend hardened criminals.

    Still waiting KSig?

Abortion is illegal in the United States ...and women are hopping on buses and planes to (as you would put it) "kill their babies" by having abortions in other countries....

would you try to stop them? Yes or No? And if Yes....how exactly?

The reason for the anger is obvious. Most "pro-lifers" haven't actually given any thought as to HOW they would enforce their fantasy of either a State-by-State or a national ban on abortion.

It just never comes up in their echo chamber conversations...or they do not engage in critical thinking.

Thus, when it IS brought up...and to maintain the illusion that they can have their "pro-life America" Utopia....they suddenly realize the EXTREME positions that they have to take.

Bland platitudes like "We'll enforce it like we do any other law"...don't work, when faced with specifics and detailed hypotheticals.

Thus they are forced into a paradox. Either-

    1. Admit that their fantasy is just that...a fantasy. That even AT BEST (for them) if Roe were overturned...and a dozen Red States banned abortions.....with access to the Interstate Highway System....such bans would be "for show", meaningless, and counter-productive for the Republican Party in those states that passed such bans....

as those States would be cut off from various convention and meeting money as pro-choice people would lobby corporations and organizations to do.

or 2. They are forced to create a "Womb Police" Gestapo state where "suspicion of abortion" allows cops to drag women into police stations and force an invasive gynecological examination on them.

Or have ultrasounds at border crossings and airports.

Or a "guilty until proven innocent" paradigm for women who have miscarriages.

One version shows their dream as a joke....the other version shows THEM as misogynistic fascists.

And there is no third option.

""""It just never comes up in their echo chamber conversations...or they do not engage in critical thinking.""""

:) That's obvious...I would change "or" to "and" in your sentence here.

I envision their deer-in-the-headlights look when asked to actually be scientific, factual, or use logic... or think things through.....(a great failing on the right on any topic...)

    1. I accept your grammatical change. It IS both being in an echo chamber of fellow "pro-lifers" where nobody ever raises the difficult...if logical questions. And a personal inability to consider such questions as it causes their fantasy to collapse.

    2. It's why they usually get so ANGRY by the time such a thread is several posts deep. THEY see the box they'd have to put themselves in....

either calling for a "Womb Gestapo" misogynistic police state (and thus confirming charges that "pro-lifers" want to control women)....

or admitting their dream of a utopian "pro-life America"...is doomed to fail even before it could occur.

Abortion is not murder and only a fool would say it is. It can be said to be self defense, given what pregnancy does to a woman's body.

BTW, mentioned one point...may turn it into a thread...

Imagine Roe overturned and it becomes "state-by-state"....and corporations and large groups which are pro-choice declare that they will boycott States that ban abortion...not hold their conventions there....etc.....

and, yes, "pro-life" groups make the same argument against pro-choice States....

Which one do you think will have more to fear, economically? The Pro-Choice States or the "Pro-Life" States?

Keep in mind, the Right have very short attention spans and memories....20 years ago Pat Robertson wanted the Religious Right to boycott Disney World because it had "Gay Family Day"....

and today nobody on the Religious Right remembers that boycott or to keep it.
