I don't think the left will be able to politically capitalise on Trumps heavy borrowing. I don't think they enjoy the credability to argue economics convincingly. Especially not to an electorate in an economy that is currently booming. It's down the right to hold him to account on this one.
That was because of the Great Recession caused by the housing bubble. Now the economy is doing well and we don't need to be borrowing a Trillion a year. In fact, it borders on criminal negligence to do so. And do you oppose donald's $1,000B+ deficits? Or are you one of the many conservatives who only pretend they are against deficits when there is a Democrat in office?
I do not think we are going to run a 1.5 Trillion dollar deficit for the year. I believe much of the deficit spending has already been allocated. What this also means is that there will be little nitrous oxide left in the tank for q3 and q4. Good grief .. I hope we do not run a 1.5 Trillion dollar deficit for the year .. deficits at that level going forward would be catastrophic.
What hypocrisy. Conservatives spent 8 years ranting and raving about deficits when Obama was in the WH. But not a peep since donald was selected. And he claims Dems "don't enjoy the credibility". Being conservative is easy when you can be a rank hypocrite.
A hypocrisy equally matched by Democrats will to criticise him on this. It's up to the right to hold him to account on this, because the left can't.
Only now the money is being spent on... making the largest military even larger and having millionaires keep more of their millions? Debt well spent... If we're lucky, the 4.1% GDP growth will be more than a temporary burp before the debts start crushing us.
We need to cut the federal government immediately. 10% across the board ... Medicare, Social Security, the military, etc. All of it.
We are 560 days into Trump's first term and the Federal Debt has increased exactly $1,365,976,925,760.30 In Obama-The-Unfortunate's final 560 days, the Federal Debt increased exactly $1,795,383,544,874.90 Trump-The-Magnificent has slowed the growth in the Federal Debt by 24% https://www.treasurydirect.gov/NP/d...tYear=2015&endMonth=08&endDay=03&endYear=2018
Sorry, I don't get involved in politics at all. I just watch it for entertainment and comment on it. You will have to relay that yourself.
An over-abundance of lies and BS from Donald Trump. Burgeoning government deficits and national debt. Conspiracy and collusion. Obstruction of justice. A cabal of grifters, cheats, their followers, and swamp creatures in the White House.
