Back in the 80's when I lived in London one of my best friends was Turkish Cypriot and a Muslim. Never once in all the years I knew him did he ever mention his religion.

 

Great point. It seems that we just can't REALLY TRUST Trump to do the right thing for America. He might or might not be doing this because Vlad's spy services have dirt on Trump, but we just can't TRUST that that's not the case. Trump needs to go, of course.

Vast majority of them do not follow such commands. Likewise, the OT has similar language, but we (and Jews) do not follow the commands, and yet we consider it a holy book. Raving about the Quran would do more harm than good, and that is a fact.

In all fairness many other religions are EQUALLY as immoral as Islam is. Modern Secular Humanism is not, however.

 

It is from God. Christians are not under mosaic law, which explains why we don't stone people. Jews don't carry out death penalties either, because their Rabbis have ruled they are no longer serving the purpose. They do not sacrifice animals either, but that might one day change. Maybe one day the muslim religious leaders follow suit, and in some countries the DP is carried out only in extreme cases.

 

Muslims have been killing each other non-stop for 1400 years.

 

So your god approves of slavery, approves of killing gays, approves of telling women to shut the hell up in church, etc., then. Clearly an immoral god. Clearly!

Keep in mind that The Donald strongly condemns virtually EVERYONE, EVERYONE, EXCEPT Vladimir.

 

So your god got it wrong in the first place, and so he had to CHANGE.....so the Bible is WRONG (so therefore you should leave it) because the Bible states that god doesn't change and that he's perfect - which is obviously a lie then.

 

This is getting off topic, but this is what the Bible (old testament) said about the style of slavery we had here in US: "Anyone who kidnaps someone is to be put to death, whether the victim has been sold or is still in the kidnapper's possession."

In ancient Hebrew world temporary slavery was a way to pay off your debt.
