In a capitalist system investment and profit and the rest of it are necessary for the economy to function. I don't disagree with that point. But - speaking only for me of course - I'm not envious of the super-wealthy. I am cautious of them though. Right now I reckon Work Choices is about to be brought back with a coat of shiny new paint. That area, industrial relations, is one which will be a bellwether as to how the new government operates.

I`ll be watching too. We should expect some changes to industrial relations, but Tony Abbott has on many occasions, sworn to not bring back work choices. Personally, I`m not one of those people who can tolerate being lied to.

Look no-one in their right mind takes any notice of Gina's ravings, she's the product of the loins of a nutter anyway. This clearly demonstrates why the ALP lost the election and clearly showed throughout their government they had no idea how to deal with an economy. Obviously when Gina said Australia must become competitive with Africa of course she was simply talking about wages. Unfortunately, the truth is far too difficult to understand, that is Australia is far too expensive to manufacture in. This of course to the ignorant simply means wages are too high, not the cost of energy (increased by ALP) not the cost of movement (again increased by ALP) because they are innocent of such issues, they cannot understand why they were tossed at the last election. Even after their leadership debate made noises about listening to the people, obviously they were not before.
