Obama paid his administration's illegal activities no mind. He even told his counterintelligence people to quit looking into Russian interference and hacking.

It absolutely does in Flynn's case, and probably Papadupoulos' case

This is all part of the soft coup attempt to overturn an election and overthrow a president, so has nothing -- zero -- to do with any law or the constitution.

Then why did they say differently? You seem to have expanded your mystical powers. Earlier you only knew that Flynn was lying in spite of what the FBI agents said. Now you are saying the FBI agents did no really believe it when they said they did not believe Flynn was lying.

Do you have any actual proof or reasons to believe this other than just wanting desperately to believe it?

Oh! I see! That they knew Flynn was lying is then why they said they didn't think Flynn was lying. Makes sense now....... if one lives in never-never land.

There were a lot of things comey couldn't remember in front of the senate the other day. But he isn't being charged with anything...

The claim picked up steam after Republicans on the House intelligence committee issued a report this year that said Comey, in a private briefing, said that the agents who interviewed Flynn “discerned no physical indications of deception” and saw “nothing that indicated to them that he knew he was lying to them.”
    <snip>
That notwithstanding, they concluded he was lying.”

You know I have heard this many times, but am unable to find any evidence of such except for a Comey interview that is taken out of context.
    Do you have a link?

Here is a guy that is lying to everyone in town including the VP The FBI and the Russians know he is lying. He is the National Security Advisor and is now in a position to be blackmailed by the Russians and you think they should just pat him on the back and say as you were soldier?

He is now in a position to be a nobody, not part of any loop, the rest of his life, no matter what happens in the immediate future. The Russians will have the same amount of interest or less in him than if he simply had retired from government, about the same amount of interest as in Condoleeza Rice or Susan Rice.

There will probably be eyes on all of them for a long time.

"The majority report of the House Intelligence Committeeincludes a finding that FBI agents “did not detect any deception during Flynn’s interview.” As evidence, the report quotes Comey from a private briefing on March 2, 2017: “the agents … discerned no physical indications of deception. They didn’t see any change in posture, in tone, in inflection, in eye contact. They saw nothing that indicated to them that he knew he was lying to them.”

The majority report also quoted from a briefing given by Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe on Dec. 19, 2017, after Flynn pleaded guilty: The “conundrum that we faced on their return from the interview is that although [the agents] didn’t detect deception in the statements that he made in the interview … the statements were inconsistent with our understanding of the conversation that he had actually had with the ambassador.” McCabe added, “The two people who interviewed [Flynn] didn’t think he was lying, [which] was not [a] great beginning of a false statement case.”

The “minority views” offered by Democrats did not challenge whether these quotes were correct or whether they were taken out of context. (A spokesman for the Democrats says the quotes are accurate.) The document simply notes the majority finding “ignores both that Flynn himself admitted in his plea to deceiving FBI agents, and that by the time of his interview with the FBI on January 24, 2017, at least one other official was aware that Vice President-elect Pence had told the same lie on television.”

This is quite a bombshell....I can see the Judge tossing the case. Very disgusting behavior by the Obama DOJ corrupt officials, and of course Mueller. They need to all be disbarred and fired in disgrace.

The nature of Flynn's lie was that he did not tell them everything quite possibly because he ddn't remember everything.

So there they are listening to the recording of him talking with the Kisser and watching him lie like Trump on TV. What did you want them to do?

Yeah, sure. And he forgot about the $500,000 he got paid by Turkey. Maybe he has Halfshimers.

Wrong. They did not conclude Flynn was lying; Mueller decided he was lying.

You asked for a link. I gave you a link. What is it about the link you do not believe? The agents did not believe he was lying.

So all that "you can't indict a sitting president" stuff has nothing to do with the fact trump hasn't been charged with anything yet?

Course we all know he's repeatedly lied about his involvement with russians and just about every other subject he has addressed.(which may or may not be a crime depending on proving motivation or intent).

We know he has repeatedly engaged in sleazy behavior and sleazy cover ups and payoffs.
(which may or may not be a crime, but remains sleazy crooked behavior)

We know he's making money off the presidency and his company was double dealing with his inauguration committee.
(which we all know is a crime)

Meanwhile those around trump continue to fall as mueller lines up all his ducks in a row. Stay tuned the ride is gonna get a lot wilder.

No miranda required. As for your suggesting that the former head of the DIA and the sitting NSA wouldn't know lying to the fbi is a crime is ludicrous. And certainly not grounds for vacating his guilty plea.
