The same question can be asked to the fanatics who threaten to kill Jews over which city a foreign nation decides to put their embassy in don’t you think?

If a fill in the blank nation decided to put their embassy in Los Angeles (with the permission of the US government) instead of DC, would any of our people be justified in threatening violence to the citizens of that country?

On a logistics level however, Israel’s government officials, and their offices are located in Jerusalem, so our ambassador and his staff must constantly commute there from Tel Aviv, and stay in a hotel, which is nowhere near as secure as a official embassy.

This whole thing is absurd, the previous 3 presidents from both parties all said this would happen under their watch, but failed to deliver. Trump says the same thing and sticks to fulfilling his promise, and the lefties are too partisan to be rational and accepting of it.
