Where have I been for the last few years? Outside the conservative echo chamber using my own brain instead of depending on talking heads to give me my opinion.

1.To get congress actually functioning
2.To try to prevent Obama from breaking the law
3.To get an actual budget
4.To give our military hope
5.To get the operations of the Federal Government to work as they should work.

And your 5 reasons for not wanting this to happen are?

 

Why can't you say republicans? There is no "con" on my ballot.

I really screwed up this local election. I actually voted for a Democrat.

Con simply means "Conservative" just as Lib stands for "Liberal" sometimes I also refer to them as Repubs and Dems, just shorter and easier when typing out a quick reply. Actually I would like to see all Party designations removed from the ballets, make people learn who they are voting for, no cheat sheets allowed, guess who is most against that idea. I voted for a couple of Dems and a couple of Repubs, I vote based on who I believe can do the better job and is best for the area or Nation, one gets to do that when they are not owned by either Party.

 

Sweet girl, but has a way to go before climbing into any leadership role in Congress, if ever, there are no absolutes in Washingtoon. Looked at her stands on the issues found the same pat Republican answers but little in the way of actual details covering each of those stands, many politicians use that cover so that others will not really know their agenda, the devil is always in the details. Guess we will have to see how she develops.

I have the feeling No. 4 is not going to work out well for the military, the GOP seems full of hawks these days.

I had no clue of any kind if this Democrat I voted for can do the job or not. I had the same information (none) on all candidates. They have no track record to do the jobs they sought.

I am not owned by any party but there is one party that works to hurt America. Democrats hurt this country.

I was close to voting for Ross Perot (I had long followed his career and was shocked he ran for president) When he suddenly quit. That cooked his goose. Even though he came back, I ended up voting for GHW Bush since he had actual experience running government.

Hey Republican Party. You want to keep the fire going? First thing to do is block that Presidential order sending our military, unarmedl, into Liberia to be exposed to Ebola. Then mandate anyone exposed to Ebola be required 21 day quarantine. Arrest the worker who thinks her personal party time is more important than being responsible and having some regard for her fellow citizens well being. Detain her for 21 days in a jail cell, like many Americans have been for being FAR LESS of a threat to the society.

Next thing on the agenda, put someone in prison for the IRS scandal, dont just let it slide and let perpetrators get away with such abuse.

Finally, when the President issues his executive order to give instant citizenship to 34 million illegal aliens, go for Impeachment. Im a Democrat who will support impeachment, and have been since this clown lied about not signing NDAA 2012, and then did so anyway after INCREASING the power of government to violate the 4th amendment.

 

Critical thinking is all that's required to see the falsehood in the whole liar of the year thing. We've been over this here before. What you choose to call lies are easily explained.

 

1.Obama and his Minions are flagrant liars and want the destruction of America
2.Republicans will actually take reasonable steps to correct unemployment, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid never would.
3.Democrats do not represent my values, and Republicans more closely reflect them.
4. The Democrats have been far less transparent than the previous Republican administrations were
5. Republicans represent the interests of working families, Democrats just want to fleece them while telling them how hard they are working for them.


Oh and now the Democrats will have to go on record with their response to Republicans measures, instead of merely refusing to vote on a measure. Obama will have to go on record with an up or down vote or apathy, which will be exposed.

No luck needed. But when it comes to ever getting America to trust the Democrats again....GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!
