I agree, but the GOP is doing it with a slow poison drip and the Dems do it with a chainsaw. Remedy? Shrink central govt and remove the power to promulgate graft hyperregulation.

"Kill the brain, kill the ghoul."

What I'm afraid of is that the far righters who lead the GOP will continue to simply not do anything. Rememver leading into 2012 how they killed many good bills in the name of not working with Obama? They even killed a jobs creation bill meant to give work to unemployed veterans.

This is not a platform, it is a copout and basically reenforces the whole "get Obama" thing. Your current president has all these qualities in ample supply but the right wing noise machine has told you he doesn't for so long you will never admit it so I don't know why I'm even bothering with this post.

The GOP are pretty blatant about their service to big business. They want to reward companies that outsource jobs instead of working to help small businesses grow to replace them.

The question itself is leading and a misstatement of the reason to vote R this time. Voting for R's is NOT voting for the GOP agenda. Why? Because precisely 0% of the Republican agenda will be signed by Obama, and R's don't have the votes to override. Hence, this election was solely about splitting the power evenly between two parties, both of which suck. It is a vote against both agendas.

Most people have come to realize that neither party represent them, and so the worst thing that can happen is for either side to get a free hand. If you look at the polls, the partisans like to say "Congress", "the President", "Republicans", "Democrats" have low ratings, but the big picture is that GOVERNMENT has a low rating. And every time the government does something new, things start to suck even worse. So it's best to arm both sides and let them fight each other, rather than fighting us.

I have long since disowned Obama, but we are stuck with him for another two years. so when I vote "EITHER" republican or democratic it is for the person whom I think best for the position

Since 2008, far right GOP leaders, like Mitch McConnel, have stated their goal was to prevent anything from being done, and made sure Obama took the blame. The republican House since 2010 have killed more bills than any other House in US history. Not all Republicans followed this idea, but all of the leaders did.

I supported the Republican agenda in the 2014 election because:

    1. I was to chicken(*)(*)(*)(*) to vote Libertarian.

Which I find funny because Libertarians have more in common with Liberals except for one thing, government supremacy over individuals which tells me liberals are for big government and authoritarian rule.

I am not sure how the Liar of the Year, as reported by the very liberal Politifact, can have honesty or integrity in an ample supply. Could you be so kind as to tell me why well documented and well reported liars can have ample supplies of honesty? I eagerly await your answer.

    You cant be serious.

No specifics..huh? No policies that you can zero in on. What a surprise. All platitudes and right wing talking points void of substance, which is exactly what Ted Cruz spews, and he too never gives specifics. I'd especially love to hear about these founding principles in greater depth, although the word "Republican' combined with "principles" is an oxymoron to beat all oxymorons.

Because I'd like to give Mr. Obama enough rope to hang himself. (And hopefully he'll hang Hillary in the process too).

If he goes ahead with immigration reform by Executive Order he'll be impeached. If he doesn't then Hillary will have to do it, and that means it'll have to be one of her campaign issues, and that would be just peachy. (I hope she tries gun control too, that would be sweet).

If the Constitutional scholar tries to directly violate the Constitution by "ordering" an immigration policy when the highest law in our land clearly states that this Power is in the hands of the Congress, he'll be impeached. The first black president will go down in flames as a wanna-be dictator.

For me it wasn't a case of Democrat vs Republican. For me it was to stop Obama and Reid. I am not better off then I was 6 years ago, I am worse off and It only keeps getting worse.

Progressives suck, that's pretty much all there is to it.

I want them gone from positions of power and influence, almost as bad as I wanted the Neo-Cons gone.

(Because they're birds of a feather, two peas from the same pod).

Neo-Cons are complete scumbags and Progtards are almost as bad. They're both dangerously stupid, for the most part. I try to keep them away from my children.

Look again to see what all was tacked onto that bill for the express purpose of ensuring that it would never pass. Don't believe everything you read in the newspapers, especially the leftwing press. They tend to leave out details like that.

No you wouldn't. No post as pointedly and ugly in its ad hominem and personal insults as this one is serious about wanting any serious information. So let's at least be honest about that. Do have a pleasant evening.
