Um... the Bible IS NOT the only Bible that tlaks about man's origins and death. Have you not heard of fiction? It isnt a coincidence at all, and even if it were that isnt proof of anything.

    Question for you.

Is the Bible copyrighted? If it is, who owns the copyright,, the authors or the publishers?

I think the New King James actually is copyrighted, but not the older King James. I'd bet many of the other versions are copyrighted as well.

If I was a Christian I think I'd be annoyed at how the bible has been subtly and not so subtly edited throughout history to be used as a tool to manipulate common people. Many tyrants and beurocracies have found the bible and religion useful for manipulating people. Sad, but true.

I agree. The bible is Gods word, a manual to save ones soul first. Secondly its a primer for people that want a closer relationship with God. We create reality by observation, sentient beings are the only creatures that do this! That is not my fabrication but rather an interpretation of experiments. So imagine what kind of responsibility that places on mankind! If the entire world is Godly and pure the universe is pure and Godly, if there is only evil and wickedness in the minds of men the universe will be wicked and evil. That is why I believe God destroyed the world by flood. Noah could not find five righteous men in the entire world! In fact I believe that the creatures were subhuman not men as we know them today, but that is material for another thread. As far as a timeline goes yes I believe that the bible gives a rough outline of the progress or regression of mankind up until the world is destroyed when a few nations attack Israel. The description of the war sounds like a total nuclear war or an extinction event comet or asteroid impact. Revelations Daniel and the other prophetic books describe big events of history like Israel becoming a nation and making the desert bloom, about her enemies being able to march a 200 million man (Chinese) army over the dried up Euphrates (only recently did man possess the technology to dam that series of rivers) to attack her. Coming predictions is a one world government and economy which Clinton and many other world leaders say is the best thing since sliced bread.....so YES that old collection of texts is prophetic.

And those BIG events will indeed happen are happening. ie- wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and storms in diverse places, etc...

Not even Nastrodamus, with his plagarism, could predict such things.

Name a time in the last 4,000 years when there hasn't been "wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and storms in diverse places, etc.".

Way different. back then, if you lived on the continent of South America, you had no freakin' clue what was going on in Egypt or Russia. with todays technology, info is as quick to get as you can log on to a computer.

Well, let the courts file a lawsuit against the Bible and we'll see. Until then....

    It's not a coincidence.

But don't ignore that fact that the Bible is more importantly the timeline for every thought you have.

It tells you to judge every thought you have and to determine if it is Godlike.
It tells you that the 12 headed dragon or whatever (bad thoughts of sickness or hate or sin or death or discord) will be defeated by the angels (thoughts, not bodies, coming from God, good) and to entertain these "angels", and don't entertain "angels" of error, evil.

Genesis explains the nature of God and man in chapter 1, and then beginning at verse 4 of chapter 2 starts the second and separate description of creation, and how those wrong thoughts get started.

Jesus finally revealed that we all are Jesus and that our job, like his, is to realize and live the message of the Bible- defeating the basic enemy- wrong thoughts.

Of course. God IS the court. He already has defended and won, simply by virtue of the fact that His copyright is untouchable. It couldn't BE violated.

Way back then, Noah could have a world wide flood and people in China lived through those times, but didn't even record noticing any heavy rain.

    Neolithic
See also: List of Neolithic cultures of China

The Neolithic age in China can be traced back to between 12,000 and 10,000 BC.[6] Early evidence for proto-Chinese millet agriculture is radiocarbon-dated to about 7000 BC.[7] The Peiligang culture of Xinzheng county, Henan was excavated in 1977.[8] With agriculture came increased population, the ability to store and redistribute crops, and the potential to support specialist craftsmen and administrators.[9] In late Neolithic times, the Yellow River valley began to establish itself as a cultural center, where the first villages were founded; the most archaeologically significant of those was found at Banpo, Xi'an.[10] The Yellow River was so named because of loess forming its banks gave a yellowish tint to the water.[11]

The early history of China is made obscure by the lack of written documents from this period, coupled with the existence of accounts written during later time periods that attempted to describe events that had occurred several centuries previously. In a sense, the problem stems from centuries of introspection on the part of the Chinese people, which has blurred the distinction between fact and fiction in regards to this early history.

By 7000 BC, the Chinese were farming millet, giving rise to the Jiahu culture. At Damaidi in Ningxia, 3,172 cliff carvings dating to 6000-5000 BC have been discovered "featuring 8,453 individual characters such as the sun, moon, stars, gods and scenes of hunting or grazing." These pictographs are reputed to be similar to the earliest characters confirmed to be written Chinese.[12][13] Later Yangshao culture was superseded by the Longshan culture around 2500 BC.

Chinese history exists before, during, and after the supposed time of the flood.
