Uhh.. you and I read a different report then. There was PLENTY there for obstruction. He just based on DOJ guidelines left it up to the House and Senate. The house would start the proceedings in a heartbeat if they thought that the spineless republicans in the senate would actually do their duty.

    -Possible- obstruction.
As Mueller discussed at length, obstruction require a demonstration of corrupt intent.
As Mueller also discussed, corrupt intent is -very- difficulty to prove, and did not in any way determine that Trump so acted.
In fact, Mueller said that absent a crime to cover up, motives other than corrupt intent must be considered.
So, there's -nothing- there for obstruction.

you originally said "Comey wasn't the one investigating Trump, he quite rightly handed it to Mueller. And Bill WAS impeached for his obstruction of justice."

Mueller came after Comey was fired

oh, I agree, I am glad Comey was fired, I think he would of protected Trump... after all he helped Trump win

I think he needed to act like he was gonna be tough against Trump in public to fool the American people, problem was, he fooled Trump too

it's karma that he was fired by the man he helped get elected

Trump's problem is he said why he fired him on national tv, he should of stuck to his lie that he was firing him cause of what he did to Hillary during the election, but he couldn't as that would mean he did not win on his own

Your statements make no sense. He kept hillary from prosecution. This has been proven that he helped her.

That's why he was fired. He's someone who cannot be trusted.

Helped Trump win? Lol what voting polls did he rig? You need to share your secret info with the world, man

Yes, Comey was head of the FBI but he wasn't the special council or personally involved, the investigation continued just fine without him

Yes but because he felt this was a smear job cooked up by the FBI, not to obstruct it.

Congress had to assign Muller to replace him because of him firing Comey, Congress woudl of protected Trump had he not tried to obstruct

Comey was not head of an investigation into Trump, firing him had no effect on that, this wasn't Nixon with the Attorney General.

This is hilarious! So, after tens of millions of dollars, and all the labor of at least two dozen high-powered attorneys, and, nearly two years spent going through Trump's campaign at the microscopic level, there are NO charges brought against ANYONE -- but you insinuate that maybe there's "breadcrumbs" instead...?! I honestly don't know whether to laugh or to cry....

The folks that gave us Obamacare not so long ago are going to run on healthcare now? I guess what else have you got? Certainly not the economy, and straight up telling the American people that illegal aliens are more important than US citizens probably isn't a good idea either. I'm seeing hilarious failure in future for the DNC...

Yes but Crossfire Hurricane proceeded it, given the amount of interference by the Russians an investigation was inevitable and right

yes, but the firing of Comey forced Republicans in Congress to assign Muller to the case due to Trump's actions, they would of fought this had that not happened and they were in control, Trump forced their hand with the firing

True but what I'm saying is that given the multitude of investigations he would have been appointed anyway, with or without firing Comey, people try to link on exclusively to the other but Trump had other justification.

I do not think the republican controlled congress would of demanded it had Comey not been fired

Possibly, you're right that this brought things to a head but there would always have been investigations, firing Comey didn't actually change anything in that regard.
