sure taxes are something we pay to the govt...with out money...that we earn...it’s not the govts money til we pay it to them

correct people move if they don’t like the taxes that’s part of the problem NY is having...people have moved...

It's not. The federal government shouldn't be picking favorites. But they do, very often now.

She's never been the brightest. The route she is talking about still requires 2/3rds vote, not just in the Senate, but also the House, which is a higher bar than impeachment.

Was this $1 trillion GOP offer you speak of the total sum of the package, or was it just an amount for the state/city "relief" /sarcasticquotes section?

If you are trying to say the rich, then both Democrats AND Republicans are guilty of helping the rich at the expense of the poor. Always has been.

Right, so now lets go back to the point. This nearly $1 trillion dollar amount that House Dems want so they can give to states/cities is a part of a large stimulus package containing, among other things, money for the USPS and checks for all of us. Whereas this huge massive amount of money for states is an area of contention that Senate Repubs simply will never approve because 1) the money for the same purpose from the last stimulus package is only ~25% depleted, 2) the total sum is more than twice what even Democrat budget specialists say will be the 2022 tax shortfall (the reason for the money in the first place), and 3) House Dems want to expand beyond reason the qualifications for using the monies.

Aside from this issue the package would pass with minimal adjustments but as you can see Democrats are standing firm on getting a massive chunk of money that will be more than double their own projected shortfalls, when they already have cash that hasn't been spent, and rather than cut back on their own budgets to help the problem they are instead planning to massive expanding them and demand the feds pick up the bill. So its not Repubs holding up money for the USPS, its Dems.

However this is all a game anyways because House Dems don't actually want the money for the USPS. I'll give you a little present from the future here and let you know that very soon you will see Democrat motions in federal courts to have state ballot-harvesting laws rendered illegal nation wide. They don't want the USPS handling mail-in-ballots, they know they will fumble it. Dems want 3rd party (aka unions) to "render assistance during these trying times" (you watch that'll be the language) because they have already seen the massive /coughfradulent benefit of ballot harvesting.

Congress cannot remove the President, short of impeachment.
The 25th Amendment is initiated by the Executive branch; Congress cannot do anything with it until the EB hands it off to them.

They're just that - allegations, made to further a partisan narrative.

If the state decides to temporarily close your business for the good of the whole, the state bears some responsibility to cover your losses for that period of time.

Yeah, that's what I thought when I read that... Trust me, if Congress (I.E. The House by itself) could have removed our National Security threat POTUS, they would have done so already.
